Thanks to the Committee for inviting me to judge one of my favourite shows, always a happy, almost carnival, atmosphere. Enormous thanks to my first rate stewards Nina and Ed. Thanks to the exhibitors for giving me a very good entry. The quality was extremely high, the only problem being in the more numerically high classes very good dogs and bitches got placed further down the line or sadly not at all, just not enough prize cards to go around.

Big powerful red and white dog. Very strong head with deep under jaw. Mouth is still good at 7 years old. Good length of neck going into well laid shoulders. Straight front, heavy bone, stood square with short back and strong quarters. Very good mover, being parallel and moving with drive. BV
2nd ROMAGNA RUMOUR HAS IT (MR & MRS M & Y MORGANS)
Beautiful 10 year old white bitch. Lovely head with sweeping profile, mouth incorrect, ears are bang on top. Straight front, good round bone. Nicely rounded body with good spring of rib. Strong quarters. Moved well in front, a little close behind.

Smart red and white Very strong head with good profile, wicked eye and ears bang on top. Correct mouth. Loads of bone, very well made all through with strong quarters. Moved fairly well.

Handsome brindle and white. Head is filled with sweeping profile. Correct mouth. Straight front. Stong round bone. Deep brisket. Good topline, nicely balanced all through with strong quarters. Moved fairly well.
2nd MIINROC DARK INTENTIONS (MISS F MILLS)
Well presented tricolour. Good arc to head, not as much fill as first. Level bite. Straight front, correct topline and well made all through and stood square. Moved a little close behind.

Upstanding brindle and white brindle and white brindle and white Sweeping profile, good mouth. Good eye and ear placement. Straight front, deep chest and well sprung ribs. Mature in body. Well bent stifles. Moved very well both coming and going.
2nd VILLENSIA SWEENEY TODD (MISS L VILLENSIA)
Handsome white with black ears. Lovely filled and turned head. One tooth out of line. Good expression. Straight front. Shapely well covered body and nicely balanced all through. Strong quarters and moved ok in front and a little close behind.

1st BLAZINBULLYS BACK TO BLACK (MR & MRS S & R MATHISON)
A very stylish black brindle and white caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring and I was not disappointed when I went over him. Correct mouth. His head is completely filled, good arc and strength of muzzle. Excellent ear and eye placement with wicked expression. Strong neck of good length leading into well placed shoulders. Ramrod front, good round bone, deep chest, good spring of ribs, correct topline. Well made throughout with strong quarters. Moved with drive covering the ground with his parallel movement. Loved his outgoing character and responded well to his handler who got the most out of him. DCC BOB

Another who is hard to miss and he is a “Super Guy”. White with black ears. Wicked expression and good ear set. Head is filled right up with good arc and turn down. Correct mouth. Straight front with heavy bone. Correct topline and very well balanced all through. Strong quarters Moved well. RDCC

Classy white with red ear and eye patch. Sweeping profile. Correct mouth. Straight front. Shapely bodylines and is well made, but she still needs to mature. Showed in flashes but made it hard work for her handler. Moved well in front but a bit close behind.

Typy white with black ears. Lovely head being filled right up with good profile. Correct mouth. Straight front, deep chest, well made and nicely balanced throughout. Moved fairly well. Presented in tip top condition. Although she made it hard work for her handler her qualities shone through.
2nd BLUEPOINT BLACKBIRD AT KOELLEN (MR K O'CONNELL)
Quality tricolour, nicely filled head with sweeping profile. Decent front,correct topline and well made throughout, good bend of stifle. Moved fairly well once she got going.

Top quality white. Strong well filled head with excellent profile and depth of muzzle. Correct mouth. Straight front. Good spring of ribs and well made throughout. Strong quarters. Moved fairly well both ways. Handler got the most out of her.
2nd MIANDALE QUEEN OF HEARTS (MR & MRS M & A DODD)
Another top quality white, with eye patch, she was hard work for her handler who eventually got the better of her, but didn’t show to her best advantage. However, beautiful head with fill and sweeping profile, correct mouth. Very well put together, straight front, excellent make and shape. Moved fairly well when settled.

Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Straight front. Deep chest. Very well balanced throughout with shapely body and good tuck up. Correct top line, strong quarters and well bent stifles, presenting a truly feminine outline overall. Moved very well both coming and going. Calmly shown by her breeder handler who got the most out of her. BCC
