Brian SMALLEY OB-1st Super impressive balanced white with great ring presence, showing her socks off today. Strong but feminine head which is completely filled up. Neat erect ears smack on top. Dark well sunken eye giving a super expression. Correct mouth. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, ramrod front with her elbows held in straight when stood. Tidy cat like feet. Level topline with beautiful clean body lines throughout. Strong quarters. Poker tail. Moves well both ways. Top class bitch. BCC
Liz CARTLEDGE OB 1st Exactly 2 years white, commanded attention from the moment she entered the ring. Great silhouette and attitude, quality head with good fill and finish, wicked small eyes, totally in tune with her handler, good neck and quarters, easy mover, firm body and topline. This was her 2nd CC I was told, her 3rd won’t be far away BCC Martin PHILLIPS OB-1st 2 years old, top quality, liked her overall balance and shape, holding her outline on the move. Brian HILL 1st-JB Black brindle and white very good conformation, long arched neck set into good shoulders continuing into nice top line, good quarters and fair tail set. Strong quality head of good length with curve and fill, eye placement gives good expression, used ears well but I would like them more on top, scissor bite; moved well and with drive though needs to tighten, should improve with maturity. Lovely well presented and shown bitch, worthy BCC winner.
Dai Hall 1st-JB Upstanding black brindle and white with a long deep well fill head, sweeping profile good mouth and expression. Long well arched neck, and straight front, good round bone nice bend of stifle moved with drive. John YOUNG OD-1st Eye catching red and white dog, beautiful head with nice turn and good fill, perfect mouth, lovely short back, well angulated quarters, good second thigh, nice bone, lovely straight front, well balanced dog, best mover of the day, it was a pleasure to award him the C.C. and B.O.B. and was pleased to see him awarded Group 4 in Terrier Group. Elaine Clark LB-1st Beautiful white with a super head, having arc, width, fill and turn. Well made all through, powerful with plenty of bone and substance she has a correct shoulder and topline and very strong quarters which, when she settled, she used to full advantage, moving out very well behind. She’s not the most co-operative showgirl and she put her handler to the test but I was, nonetheless, very pleased to award her the BCC. Brian SMALLEY LD-1st Top draw dog, which took my eye from the off! Impressive, well marked black brindle excelling in breed type, whose coat was gleaming and hard to the touch. Sweeping egg shaped head with good depth of muzzle. Ears bang on top, being used all the time. Dark well sunken eye. Slight mouth fault. Well laid shoulders, deep chest, ramrod front. Level top line stood and on the move. Correct tail set. Covers the ground with easy strides. His many virtues winning through in the line up. DCC & BIS
Elaine CLARK OD-1st Upstanding black brindle who I have admired from the ring-side and who didn’t disappoint on handling. Beautiful sweeping profile, width and depth, mouth just two teeth level with correct canines. Fully mature, with correct bone and substance, decent shoulder, good straight front and broad strong chest, level topline, good quarters and bend of stifle. Moved well, being parallel both ways although, perhaps if you were splitting hairs he could ‘drive’ off his quarters a little more but, there’s always something!. One to be proud of and I was very pleased to award him DCC & BOB Anna BLAIR OD-1st 3 years upstanding black brindle and white in superb condition, head has good turn and fill, wicked eye, slight mouth fault. Well placed ears. Straight front, tight feet, good round bone, deep brisket and spring of rib, level topline which he held on the move, moved well in front with good drive in the rear, was very pleased to award him the CC and find out later that he is now UK Champion. Penny SANDS JB-1st Simply stunning pure white bitch just oozing quality and so feminine. With an unbroken profile to her head she has plenty enough fill and such a strong underjaw, plus she has perfect dentition. She has a good length of neck, correct length of upper arm with well laid shoulders and plenty of forechest. She has a good bend of stifle and short strong hocks. Each piece simply flowed into the next, a beautiful shapely girl who moved out well enough to award her the CC and BOB, she looked an absolute picture in the group ring.
