I would like to thank the NEBTC for the opportunity to judge their Championship Show it was a great honour. A big thank you to all who entered and made it a fantastic entry for the club. It is fair to say that I felt privileged to go over a lot of quality animals and on the day several went unrewarded. There seemed to be a few newcomers at the show and hopefully they will continue to support a very friendly club.

1st DOLLY'S WHITE BULLTANEER (MR & MRS J R & M WATSON)
Upstanding white with very good bone, head has good length with gentle profile and deep muzzle, very good eye and perfect bite, ears could be better placed, long strong neck good forechest and clean shoulders with straight front. Too long in back at the moment to give balance. Correct tail set and enough turn of stifle. Moves with drive and well handled.

Typey compact white and with a touch more length of neck would be completely balanced, head has fill and gentle profile with well placed eye and correct bite. Keen expression despite ears been a touch wide. Short strong neck clean shoulder and short back, with correct tail set. Can stand a touch straight in stifle. Movement adequate.
2nd DUCATI ZEUS BRYNE (MR NEIL)
Upstanding white that would benefit with a few more lbs to give balance. Good length of head well shaped eye and good ear placement when used, with keen expression. Strong straight front and tight feet, clean shoulder and good forechest. Lack of substance does not help overall length. Rear movement excellent

Red in excellent condition and well balanced just enough length of head and fill with gentle profile and correct bite. Ear and eye give keen expression. Long strong neck, short back but tail set a touch high. Tight front good depth of brisket and spring of ribs. Moves with power and is a bit of a handful, but couldn't get the better of an experience handler.
2nd CIVERT STOP THE CAVALRY (MRS J HEDGES)
Typey cobby tricolour in excellent condition, strong head with gentle profile well shaped eye neat ears and correct bite. Strong front and tight feet with very good forechest with deep brisket. Broad rear quarters and correct tail set. Moves with drive but dips on top line.

Smart well marked red in excellent condition. Long strong head with deep muzzle and strong under jaw with very good eye, ears could be better placed. Slight mouth fault. Long strong neck short back and well set tail. Strong straight front with decent feet, good forechest and brisket. Enough turn of stifle movement adequate.

Compact masculine white with heavy bone. Strong head with powerful muzzle and gentle profile, has excellent eye and keen expression despite ear placement. Mouth fault. Long strong neck, short back and correct tail set. Well laid shoulder deep brisket and plenty of fore chest. Lots of bone in front with deep tight feet. Broad rear quarters and good turn of stifle. Powerful mover. RDCC
2nd PHOENIXSCAR DARK SECRET (MR R R SMITHSON)
Tricolour in good condition, decent make and shape and needs more forechest. Strong head with good eye and mouth but needs to use his ears, feet a touch untidy. Handler deserves credit had to work really hard.

Compact and well balanced brindle with an absolute full on attitude. Head has good length with fill. His white head marking could make him appear browie but he is not. Gentle profile with neat thin ear and well shaped eye giving him a keen expression with perfect bite. Long strong neck, good fore chest, strong front with elbows tucked in and small tidy feet. Short back well sprung rib and deep chest, enough turn of stifle but can be stood over stretched. Covers the ground with ease. DCC BIS
2nd IRAZISTABULL HADES UPSTART (MR & MISS D P & S MCDONAGH & MCLEISH)
Heavy weight masculine tricolour in excellent condition. Powerful head with deep muzzle, eye and ear with keen expression with perfect bite. Thick strong neck, very good forechest and shoulders with straight front. Touch more stifle would help his top line on the move, but he is an impressive BT. handled to perfection.

Smart balanced white, head has good length with gentle profile. Very good eye and ear, give keen expression with correct bite. A touch more fill under eye would complete. Strong straight front and small tight feet, short back, good turn of stifle, moved well and very well handled.

Well shaped body correct tail carriage and good turn of stifle. Covered the ground well and hopefully as she matures she will become more balanced.

Cobby heavyweight tri with good balance, excellent bone and well made throughout. Strong head but still feminine with correct bite. She was a touch unhappy so difficult to assess movement.

Black brindle in good condition head has length with gentle profile, well placed ear and well shaped eye, long reach of neck and clean shoulders. Strong straight font, feet a touch untidy. Short back but slightly too much roach. Just enough stifle, movement adequate. Expertly handled.

Cobby balanced tricolour long head and gentle profile with deep muzzle, excellent eye and correct bite, ears could be a touch closer together. Strong neck clean shoulders and very good forechest with well sprung ribs. Strong front deep brisket, short back well set tail and enough stifle. Moves with drive very well handled.

Powerful white, good length of head with sweeping profile and correct bite. Small really well shaped eye but ears could be a touch closer together, but having said that she has a piecing expression. Strong neck plenty of forechest, strong straight front with plenty of bone and tight thick feet. Level top line with slight roach and good tail set. Strong quarters which move her with drive. On being close up i really liked the overall substance of this girl yet she is still very feminine. RBCC
