My thanks to National Terrier for the opportunity to judge at the home of terriers, my original appointment being postponed by Covid. Overall quality of dogs and bitches was very high. My CC & RCC winners all of excellent quality and there were a few close decisions in the classes my thanks to all those who entered.

Black brindle and white Nicely made youngster although a little shy. Has a nicely filled head with good eye and ear placement. Straight front to nice feet, deep well set chest Good lay of shoulder and level topline. Nice rear end which she used well on the move once settled into her stride.

Upstanding white with eye patch, Shaped and filled head with good expression nice deep muzzle correct mouth Lovely straight front with deep wide chest excellent round bone. Good shoulders and topline nicely put together back end. Moved very well both ways. Liked him a lot. Well handled.
2nd LLANWENARTHS LOVE AND PRIDE (MR & MRS T & A PROBERT)
White Very much the juvenile and acted accordingly Overall a very well proportioned dog Nice head and profile well set eyes, ears when he decided to put them up are correctly placed. Heavy set body nice straight front chest needs to fully drop. Can move with drive when settled. Needs time.

Classic white “Bull Terrier” just the correct amount of bone and substance for me ticking a lot of the boxes. Elegant shaped and filled long head with super expression. Correct mouth. Flows from top of his head through to tail. Short bodied. From the front view legs straight to neat feet and tucked elbows round bone good depth and width of chest. Rear well muscled with nice bend of stifle and second thigh. Moved with drive to cover the ground Expertly handled. DCC

Very smart white with lots of virtues Nice length of head with excellent expression correct mouth Short coupled with nice topline and deep set and well sprung ribs. Moved well both ways in sequence with his handler.

1st IRAZISTABULL STAR OF VULCAN (MR & MISS D P & S MCDONAGH & MCLEISH)
White excellent dog with very clean outlines has a strong profile with well shaped head correct eye and ear placement mouth correct. Solid body with just the right covering long reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulder level topline, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Nicely rounded back end but would like more bend in stifle which is reflected in his movement being ok in front but choppy behind.

Another quality white with brindle eye patches Well shaped and just the right turn of head correct eye ear placement. Strong shapely neck with level topline and good tail carriage. Right bone for size and substance When settled moved with drive. Would like better shoulder placement and his elbows need to be tucked more under his chest.

Heavyweight white, Powerful head shaped and fully filled, correct eye and ear placement, however was disappointed with his mouth, muscular neck into a nice lay of shoulder. Deep barrel front with nicely tucked elbows, well sprung of ribs. Nicely put together behind. Kept his handler on her toes when showing but when settled moved well both ways. RDCC
2nd TEWKABULL PEAKY BLINDER (MR J TEWKESBURY)
White a mature solid muscular dog. Good length of head with plenty of fill and finish piercing eye correct mouth eye and ear placement. Rounded well proportioned body with level topline which he kept whilst on the move although rear movement was a little close. Very attentive to his handler.

Red and white Nice long head which could have a bit more fill at this age. Nice eye and ear placement. Neck and shoulders flow into one, level topline. Straight front with good bone. Movement a little jaunty but improved when she settled. Very well handled.

White youngster with loads of promise and potential. A lovely clean unbroken profile with just the right width and fill of head to balance. Strong underjaw and rounded muzzle. Eye and ear placement spot on, correct mouth. Neck shoulders topline all as one. Straight front with nicely tucked in elbows. Has not fully sprung her ribs but time on her side. Well constructed and angled rear end. On the move when deciding to be cooperative moves with drive and flow. Again when mind on the job just stands in a natural show stance. Very close decision in the challenge overall maturity winning out. Well handled. RBCC
