Excellent 22 months old red and white, elegant dog. Beautifully turned and well filled head. Well constructed, though a bit high on his legs. Good bone and feet. Moves well with drive. Lovely coat, shown in excellent condition on every level, a credit to his owner. Handled very well. Excellent temperament. |
2019 BIRM NATIONAL CH Joanna PHILLIPS 2nd-OD |
Upstanding elegant red and white dog. Beautiful head turned and filled with good underjaw. Mouth fault. Lovely reach of neck and shapely forechest. Super front and elbows tucked right in. Neat feet and lovely quarters. Good bone for size. Really well made dog and balanced throughout. Moved fairly parallel and covered the ground. Showed fairly well and presented in immaculate condition. RDCC |

2019 THREE COUNTIES CH Gary NEWBERRY 1st-LD |
Impressive red and white boy. Beautiful long, filled up head with no indentations and a sharp expression. Incisors correct, but one missing canine and one instanding canine. Long reach of neck flowing into a perfectly level top line and pronounced forechest. Straight front, deep brisket and short coupled loin. Correct angulation front and rear with an excellent length of leg making a perfectly square outline. Moved well coming, but very close going. RDCC |

Beautifully marked upstanding red and white. A balanced picture. Head has a very good turn with strong finish. Good length. Good fill. Well placed eye with good expression. Incorrect mouth. Lovely reach to his muscular neck flowing into positive forehand construction. Good bone down to the ground, fore and aft. His body lines are smooth with good angles, front and rear. Hocks well let down. Moves truly all ways. |
2019 SWKA CH Dominic CLARK 1st-LD |
Very smart and masculine red and white, showing well throughout. Standing looks a picture: lovely head with arc, fill, depth and good expression, would like a little more width and unfortunately carrying a serious mouth fault, with a missing canine and misplaced incisors. Well balanced, excellent forechest. Plenty of bone and substance, toes out slightly in front but shapely quarters, moving with drive behind. All things considered… the one I’d take home. |
2019 MIDLAND COUNTIES CH John YOUNG 2nd-LD |
Big upstanding red and white dog, lots of bone and substance, beautiful head turned and filled, ears bang on top, mouth incorrect, good reach of neck, perfect straight front, presented in tip top condition. |
2018 MANCHESTER CH Ron SCOTT 1st-MPD |
Red and white, good head with turn, perfect mouth, wicked eye, lovely neck, shoulders and rear quarters, plenty of bone and cat like feet, moved reasonably well both ways. Well handled and presented. One I would like to see in the future. |
2018 CRUFTS CH Dominic CLARK 2nd-PD |
Lovely, upstanding and masculine red and white. Very typy with a lovely head, having arc, width fill and depth. Good round bone and substance and in excellent condition. Although striking from the outset, in the absence of a vet’s report I was unable to place him higher due to him apparently losing a canine due to a cage incident, with his remaining canine unfortunately tight. |
2018 BTCFEB OP Bill LAMBERT 1st-PD |
Impressive tall red dog with lots of quality. Excellent filled head with well-placed eye and ears. Misplaced canine. Straight front and tucked n elbows but turns his feet out slightly. Good length of neck, a shade long in body but likely to shorten up with maturity. Shapely bodylines and extremely sound; excellent make and shape. Very good bone, Moved freely both ways. Just needs maturity |
2018 WEBTC CH Mark PHILLIPS 1st-PD |
Striking upstanding red & white puppy dog. Lovely lines when standing. Well turned head with good fill and excellent expression. Mouth fault. Lovely front with neat feet. Covered the ground freely on the move. Super showman. With maturity one to watch. BP |
2018 NPBTCAPR OP Wendy WHITTAKER 1st-PD |
Upstanding red and white 10 month dog, sweeping profile, muzzle a little narrow when viewed from above, ears ok good length of neck into well placed shoulders, rear angulation good, could use some ring craft classes as his movement was ok but a little hard to assess as he was playing up for his handler. |
2018 NAT TERRIER CH Eric STANLEY 1st-PD |
Large upstanding red and white very good head, one canine missing, very well constructed, very good neck and shoulders front and hind quarters, a bit high on the leg for me |

Well marked red and white with lovely bone and substance, very much a puppy but he has lovely conformation, and beautiful feet, he has a super filled and turned head and perfect mouth. He is a very promising young boy who moved well when settled. |

Red and white dog, bigger dog, nice head, good eye, strong underjaw not the mouth of first, good straight front, well bodied up, good quarters, needs to settle on the move. |
2018 SCCA CH Andrea NEWBERRY 1st-JD |
Large, up on the leg red and white dog with lovely body lines. Super head, packed and turned. Well balanced construction with correct shoulders and bend of stifle. Moved well. He was a handful which made his handler work hard. |
2018 THREE COUNTIES CH Dai HALL 2nd-JD |
Tall red and white. Long head with good profile and fill, Mouth incorrect and ears set a little wide, Long elegant neck, straight front good top line and bend of stifle. |
2018 BLACKPOOL CH Eddie BALL 2nd-JD |
Red and white dog who has a sweeping elegant head with lots of finish, lots of expression, good shoulder placement, straight front, well angulated rear quarters, moved parallel and with ease. A touch longer in the back than the first placed dog. |
2018 WEBTCOCT OP Kim WHITTAKER-MILNER 2nd-LD |
Beautifully presented red and white boy of 15 months, strong head with sweeping profile and fill, when focused and using his ears his expression is excellent. Incorrect mouth. Good straight front with tight elbows and neat tidy feet. Unfortunately today he was more than a handful for his owner and so was unable to fully assess his movement, despite perseverance, which was a shame as he is a quality boy. |
2018 WINDSOR CH Elaine CLARK 1st-JD |
Striking red and white who I liked a great deal in his class but who still looked a stripling against the big boys in the challenge. Upstanding, masculine and very well balanced with a lovely head, having arc, fill and turn, good expression, one tight canine and 2 incisors just level. Good straight front and deep chest, lovely shoulder and topline, with correct, well angulated quarters, he moved well both ways. One to watch. |
2018 CBTCNOV OP Tavi GALLA 2nd-LD |
1½ year old lovely marked red and white boy, different type to the winner of the class. He has a long head with great turn and fill but I would prefer more width. One lower canine was missing due to fracturing of its crown. This boy has a lovely make and shape, beautiful long neck and good shoulders, enough bone for his type, good front and tidy cat-like feet, but for me he is a bit long in back and his tail set could be better. Nevertheless he is a quality boy that needs more time to fully mature. He’s been full of himself today making his handler to work hard. He was very unlucky to meet the winner of the class today. Pleased to award him RBD |
2018 DRIFFIELD CH Graham HUGHES 2nd-JD |
Red and white who really does have a mind of his own. Very well made terrier type. Has a long filled head with correct eye and ear placement. Unfortunately (through an accident) has lost a canine but has a correct scissor bite. A lovely long neck leading to a correct lay of shoulder and on to a solid back end good spring of rib which makes for a well balanced picture and is still maturing. Down side movement very difficult to assess to many distractions around in and around the ring despite his handlers’ best efforts, very frustrating. |
