Thank you to the committee of the Coloured Club for their invitation to judge, I thoroughly enjoyed my day and it was a pleasure to judge, also thank you to all those that gave me an entry. In some classes competition was tight and on another day placings could have been reversed. Attention needs to be paid to some of the dogs conditioning as some were carrying too much weight or lacked muscle tone. I was pleased to see that the over exaggerated froggy rear ends that were getting common a few years ago are in decline, as that can only be good for the breed.

1st POLANCA POWERSLAVE (MISS L SHEPPARD)
Brindle and white male who is almost 10 years old, he has a good profile with a noticeable finish, still maintains good width and fill to his head. Mouth is correct and the teeth are in good condition for a dog of his age, Well placed eye one ear half down. Strong neck which leads into a good shoulder and forechest. Excellent bone and tight feet still, Nice spring to rib well angulated rear moved freely keeping his topline. Presented in good condition and shown well.
2nd RAGNAROK BALDER AT POLANCA (MISS L SHEPPARD)
Red and white male who is almost 15 years old, Good head with good profile and finish, mouth fault. Ears in correct place and used well, still maintains good make and shape when you consider his advanced years. Good front and a deep brisket well angulated rear and moved well considering his age. Well handled.

Brindle and white who is 14 months old. Medium sized typey male who has a lovely profile with good width and fill, Correct mouth. Well placed eye and ear giving an excellent expression, Strong muscular neck which leads to a good front and shoulder. Short in back. Good bone, feet a little untidy. Depth to his brisket and a good spring to rib, moved well in front and a well angulated rear moved him well behind once he settled, he made his handler work today. RBD

1st KENXTWEN LET'S GO (MISS A TOWNSEND)
Red and white with a good profile with a noticeable finish, head has width and fill. Keen eye and ears in the correct place although they could have been used more. Muscular neck into a good shoulder with a very good front. Short in back and with a deep brisket, elbows tucked right in. Good bone and feet and a well angulated rear end. Moved well in front but not in the rear, particularly his left leg which ultimately cost him in the line up.
2nd BRUNEYE BISMARK FOR CASODON (MR & MRS D & C PLEASANTS)
Heavyweight brindle and white male who had a good head with a gentle profile with good width and fill, Mouth fault. Very powerful neck and a good front, Masses of bone which caught my eye immediately, his feet could be better and I thought he was carrying a little too much weight on the day. Big spring of rib and a well angulated rear, Moved well in front close behind.

1st JASNA DIRTY DEALER (MR & MRS R & D SCOTT)
Masculine red and white upstanding dog with a good head which has a gentle profile with plenty of width and enough fill, one canine is tight. He has good eye & ear placement but doesn’t always use his ears, when he does he has an excellent expression. Muscular neck which leads to a good front and shoulder. He has very good bone and a deep chest, his rear is well angulated which moved him well both ways and with drive once his handler had got him settled. The dog and handler were not always on the same page with regards to handling and this could improve. Having said that I saw just enough to award him Best dog but was a tight call with the reserve dog. BD
2nd MIINROC DARK INTENTIONS (MISS F MILLS)
Solid Tricolour who leans towards terrier in type, He has a gentle profile to head although I’d like a little more width, Mouth is correct. Nice length to neck which leads to a straight front and a good shoulder. Carries enough bone for his type, Well muscled rear end which had good angulation and moved him well keeping his topline.

1st KARMARA’S LITTLE BIG MAN (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
Red and white upstanding dog with a lovely long head that has a gentle profile, a little more width would complete the picture. Mouth fault. Well placed keen eye and good ears gave the desired expression. Very good front and depth to chest, lovely round bone and good feet. Well angulated rear end which moved him freely. Very well handled and presented in excellent condition.
2nd SPARTIATE RAG'N BONE MAN (MR & MRS D A & S M HACKETT)
Black brindle and white. Heavyweight who had an excellent head with plenty of width and fill and a lovely profile. Mouth fault. Good shoulder with a big forechest. Excellent bone that was round and heavy, Feet could have been tighter. Very good depth to brisket and spring to rib. When his handler got him settled he moved well. He has enough natural bone & substance that he doesn’t need the extra weight that he was carrying on the day which reflected in my placings. If he had stayed until the end of show he would have been the best black brindle dog.

1st LARONBELLE'S JAMARI (MR & MRS & MISS A & A & E J TWYMAN)
Brindle and white who is 11 months old, Beautiful headed bitch with a lovely profile and plenty of width and fill for her type. Level bite with correct K9s. Well placed keen eye with good ears give excellent expression. Elegant neck leads to a shoulder that could be better but her qualities carry this. Good bone that was round. Rear angulation was good, moved well in front a little close behind. This bitch is a long way off mature but already has sweeping body lines and has a lot of quality for one so young, I expect she has a bright future in front of her. Well handled and presented. I was happy to give her BB BOB BIS
2nd K'S CHOICE THE ROCK SUPERSTAR LIVING AT GUARDIAN BULL (MR & MISS K & J CLEMENTS & QUANCE)
Tricolour 7 months old bitch who had a gentle profile and enough fill to her head for type. Good mouth. Filled her frame well for her age noticeable spring to her rib already, good bone that was round. Good rear angulation that moved her well both ways.

Beautiful bitch with a sweeping profile with good width and fill. Perfect mouth. Well placed eye and good ears give good expression. Strong neck leads to a good shoulder and a straight front, good depth to chest. Correct angulation to rear end moved her well and she held topline on the move. Well handled.

1st CLANSMANN FLAME OF GORY (MR P CAMPBELL)
Red and white bitch who is up on her leg, head has a very gentle profile and has just enough width and fill, Perfect mouth. Her ears are right on top of her head with good eye placement giving her a first class expression. Elegant neck goes to a straight front, she is just a little upright in shoulder. She has correct bone for type and tight feet. Good rear end that was well muscled and moved her well both ways whilst holding her topline. A real flashy show girl who not once stopped showing off her virtues. Well handled.
2nd RABRAM RIVER PHOENIX FOR CASODON (MR & MRS D & C PLEASANTS)
Tricolour cobby type of bitch with an excellent head that had a good profile combined with width depth and fill. She has a good eye and good ears when she uses them. She has ample bone but the feet are a little untidy. Good shoulder with a straight front. This bitch has natural substance so didn’t need the extra weight she was carrying today and was a little out of coat. I would have liked just a little more rear angulation, Moved well in front close behind.

Substantial Tricolour bitch with a sweeping profile and good width and depth to head, a little more fill would complete the picture. Her eyes are well placed but her ears a little wide. Good mouth. Strong neck leads to a straight front, she has a deep brisket and good spring to her rib. Lovely bone feet could be better. I’d prefer just a little more bend to stifle, moved well in front a little close behind. Handled well.
2nd ASTASIA EMIKO (MR & MRS & MISS S & A & M WALKER & JENNINGS)
Brindle and white bitch that had plenty of type. She had a good profile and enough width and fill for type. Correct mouth. Lovely feminine neck led to a good shoulder and a strong forechest. Correct bone for type with good feet. A little loose underneath today. Nicely angled rear end moved well both ways. Well handled

Brindle and white bitch whose head has a lovely sweeping profile with good width and fill. Correct mouth. Well placed eye, although ears are a little wide. Brindle and white bitch who is a substantial girl and up on her leg, she is a beautiful shade of brindle and is well marked. She has a long head that has a sweeping profile with good width and fill. Bite is level canines are correct. She has a keen well placed eye although ears are a touch wide. She has a good shoulder and a big forechest and depth to her brisket. Ample bone although feet could be a little tighter. Nicely angulated rear end moved her well and with purpose. Presented in pristine condition and well handled.
2nd BRIDEN DIAMANT NOIR (MR & MRS B & D SMALLEY)
Black brindle bitch that has plenty of type. Good head has a strong profile with good width and fill. Excellent eye and ear carriage giving her the desired expression. Strong neck leads into a good shoulder and straight front. Lovely spring to rib. She had good bone for type, feet could be a little tighter. She was absolutely full of herself today giving her handler a hard time. Moved well in patches.
