You are aware that both specimens will have such merit, both judges are loathe to give way. It was indeed a very close decision between two brindle and white puppies. Dog judge Sarah Thompson (Gorbain), and bitch judge Anna Dodd (Miandale) agreed to differ.
Sullivan’s Devarca Anything Goes (6mths) (Ch Rambram Rustic Sunrise x Tilleah Devils Arcade at Devarca, good head,mouth, excellent make and shape who moved out smartly covering the ground did take BPIS. He was against Twymans Laronbelle Jamari (10mths) (Javarke River Pirate x Ch Laronbelle Crimson Tide)such a feminine puppy, showing like a bomb in immaculate condition. She has good head,mouth, ear set, super neck. She moves close behind

I would personally like to thank The N&DDBTC committee for inviting me to co judge their 2023 Limit Show with Anna Dodd. This being my first appointment at judging Bull Terriers I want to say a huge thank you to my stewards, Mary Marsden and Chris Wright for helping make my day run smoothly. Last but certainly not least I’d like to thank all exhibitors for entering under myself and making it a thoroughly enjoyable day. Without you this would not be possible.

1st DEVARCA ANYTHING GOES (MRS & MR R & J SULLIVAN)
6 months old brindle and white male.
This very handsome young male has a lovely clean profile, good expression with a deep muzzle and strong underjaw. Good mouth. Correct reach of neck, leading into good lay of shoulder and correct length of upper arm. Straight front, plenty of bone leading into good feet. When settled this young dog moves well coming and going, holding his top line on the move. Lovely tail set and bend of stifle. To be critical would like to see a better ear set. Promising young dog. BP.
2nd RIGHTSTUFF STRIKE (MR & MRS C J & J WRIGHT)
10 month old black brindle male. Another good young male. Clean profile, strong muzzle, good underjaw with a correct mouth. Not quite the bone of the class winner, but a straight front leading into very tidy feet. Holding topline on the move, moving parallel both ways with plenty of drive behind. Correct tail set and bend of stifle. Would like to see a bit more length in the upper arm . Very close decision between 1st and 2nd in this class. Another promising young male.

14 month old brindle and white male. Large upstanding male. Powerful head, correct expression, ear set with beautiful fill and turn. Deep muzzle and underjaw. Mouth OK. Good reach of neck leading into correct shoulders and upper arm. Level topline which he held on the move. Moving parallel both ways with reach and drive. Pushed hard for top honours.
2nd CARAMEL LATTE (MISS E ROSE)
17 month old red and white male. Very balanced male. Very gentle profile, good expression with correct ear set. Would like more fill. Good mouth. Adequate bone for size. Moved well both ways, holding topline while on the move.

2 years old red and white male. Super quality compact male. This male took my eye the moment he entered the ring. Beautiful profile, correct expression and ear set. Deep well filled muzzle with strong underjaw. Perfect mouth. Strong neck leading into correct lay of shoulder and upper arm. Correct bone for size and very tidy feet. Super deep brisket and short back. When settled moved with reach reach coming and drive going, holding a level topline with a correct tail set. I’m sure this male will have a promising future. BD BIS
2nd MOCHARABULL HES EVERYTHING (MISS J CLEMENTS)
3 years old black brindle male. Not the power of head as the class winner but a gentle profile with a correct mouth. Very well made dog with a correct shoulder and upper arm. Ample bone with tidy compact feet. He moved well both ways with a correct tail set. Holding his topline on the move.

5 year old white male with black ears. Well balanced male. Correct profile with good fill and turn. Good ear set with correct expression. Mouth OK. Good reach of neck, correct lay of shoulder and upper arm. Ample bone for size with good feet. Moved well coming, a little close behind.
2nd RUBBISE BIG AL (MR A HAASE)
4 years old brindle and white male. Gentle profile with width but could do with a little more fill under the eyes. Good mouth. Good reach of neck with a correct front. Ample bone with good feet. Moved OK.

2 years old white male. Super typey compact square male exudes attitude. Powerful well filled head throughout, deep muzzle and strong under jaw. Well set ears and the tiniest of eyes giving a piercing expression. Would like to see him a little smoother through the brow. Mouth OK. Good reach of neck, good lay of shoulder but would like to see a touch more length in the upper arm. Powerful deep brisket, moved with drive and reach holding his level topline on the move. Well angulated rear. A real show man. RBD

22 months old white male with eye patch. Upstanding typey dog, lovely clean profile, long muzzle with good fill. Lovely expression and good mouth. Good reach of neck leading into a correct front with very tidy feet. Good topline with a well angulated rear. Tail carried a little high but moves well both ways. Another close decision between these two males.
