I would like to thank the Scottish Bull Terrier Club for an amazing day and for inviting me to judge their October 2021 show. Thank you to all who attended and to everyone that entered. Thank you to the committee especially Dave and thanks to all steward, Andy the food was banging! In all honesty I found the quality of the dogs and bitches good but movement not so good.

1st DRAGUS BEGINNING OF STORY (MR PIOTR PYLKOWSKI)
A tall dog with nice head but would prefer more fill under eyes. A well made dog with a good top line deep brisket and short back. Good angulation good feet moved well both ways.

1st ABGAR THE ALMIGHTY (MISS & MR A & J HENDERSON & SMITH)
A real heavyweight. Beautiful head, long neck into well laid shoulders. Good front good feet moved parallel both ways. Was called back into the ring to compete for the Tudor Rose Movement Award but he had left. Shame really.

1st TEIRWGWYN THE PUNISHER (MR IAIN SHAW)
This dog has a nice gentle profile and a decent head. Long neck good quarters with nice rear angulation. Cat feet. Could do with a little more weight. Movement difficult to assess.

Lovely white boy in tip top condition. Stunning power packed head with good mouth ears bang on top, good depth of brisket, super short back, a real eye catcher. A very well made dog with type type type Was a pleasure to award him Best In Show. BD BIS

Black brindle dog that showed his socks off! Good looking dog with a nice head gentle profile without exaggeration. Good shoulder placement, cracking front, good feet showed and handled to perfection. RBD

Black brindle heavyweight 10 year old! Strong power packed head with good ear set. Nice long neck into good shoulders and front. This boy still has real ring presence. Cracking dog full of type with lovely round bone. Moved ok. BV
2nd BULLYWORKS PURE BULL (MR IAIN SHAW)
7 year old red and white boy. Well made dog lacking a little in profile, good shoulder placement, good body lines nice croupe and tail set. Moved well both ways.

11 month old white bitch with red ears. Very elegant, feminine but beautiful head with a nice profile, fill and depth . Good ear set, perfect mouth. Long neck into correct shoulders, nice round bone, short back into good croupe giving correct tail set. Good bend of stifle. A very well made bitch indeed that moved true both ways. Tudor Rose Movement Award winner. BP BB BOS RBIS

Litter sister of 1. Same ownership. Another beautiful girl that oozed quality. Lovely head with good ear placement and nice triangular eye. Long neck good shoulder placement cat feet. Flowing body lines looked a tad more immature than her sister. Moved well both ways.

Big upstanding white bitch with a powerful head. Sweeping profile good ear set, great expression with wicked eyes. Enough bone for size . Needs to tighten up a little but still a baby really. Moved ok.
2nd SERENBULL SOUL PARADIS (MISS & MISS & MRS K & L & S KELLY & KELLY & NISBET)
Terrier type bitch, nice head but could do with a tad more fill under eyes. Very well made girl with good quarters and a super short back. Moved ok.

2nd BLAZINBULLYS MISS A BEAT (MS & MR M & T ADEY-MCCONNELL & MCCONNELL)
Totally different type to 1. Well made brindle and white bitch with good flowing body lines. Nice head with a nice expression ears on top, good eye. Moved ok . A little close behind maybe preferred the head of 1.

Brindle and white bitch. Ears bang on top, wicked eye, would prefer more fill to head and a little more underjaw. Correct shoulders a well made bitch with a nice top line that she held on the move.
2nd ZABAKROL ANGEL IN THE HOUSE (MR & MRS D & M MACKAY)
Brindle and white bitch very nervous. What a shame as she is beautiful. Unfortunately she did not want to show for love nor money. Could have been a whole different ball game if had decided to show. Beautiful head with turn and fill, perfect mouth, long neck into a good shoulder. Lovey front, good feet. Movement difficult to assess.

White cobby bitch with compact filled up head. Wicked expression keen triangular eye. Plenty of bone for her size, lovely short back, tail set could be better. Her topline let her down on the move but nevertheless a nice typey bitch. RBB

Tricolour bitch with good head and nice expression. A little overweight! Good top line short coupled moved well going away but wide in front coming.
