I would like to thank the SECBTC Committee, it's members and all the participants who presented their dogs in the October open show, for your trust and hospitality and a lovely atmosphere, as always. The dogs presented were of a high standard, making some decisions very close. I am very pleased with my BIS and BOS, both specimens full of type and qualities typical for a high class male and female. The condition of the exhibited bull terriers was excellent, a delight to go over well looked after and loved dogs.
Special thank you for presenting your precious veterans, always a joy to look at but extremely hard to judge, every owner of the veteran thinks they have the best dog in the world and none of them is wrong!
I apologise for delay with this report and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and much better, easier and safer New Year. All the best and hopefully see you in and at the ring in 2022!

Brindle and white, 10 months old, masculine for his age, beautiful type and expression, head in development but already well curved and deep, well filled under eyes. Lovely ears bang on top, good bite with left canine slightly in. Lovely front and cat-like feet. Good topline that is held well in movement. Movement ok, typical for the breed. Pleasant disposition and in a good, show condition. Very promising young boy. BP

White, 1 year old male, nice head in development phase, ears set correctly, he was too excited to have his teeth examined, but I am sure he will settle with time , just needs more ring practice. Very well made with a straight front, correct topline, tail set, back angulation and tail set. Good bone. Presented in a great mental and physical condition.

1st EVANNASTAR'S ROCCO (MISS J MURRAY)
Very smart and beautifully marked black brindle and white with a lot to like about him, he has what I value a lot - make and shape with a short back. His head is masculine, well curved, wide and strong. Mouth off with left canine in. Correct neck into good shoulders, wide front, feet slightly outwards. Correct topline and tail set. A little bit excited in movement. Very eye pleasing young male.

1st TEWKABULL PEAKY BLINDER (MR J TEWKESBURY)
White, mature male, final show 'product'. Superb ring presence from the moment he entered the ring, he screams champion quality to me. Very well put together and balanced. Just the perfect middle of the road, with a great make and shape and a short back, strong, masculine and well curved head with a perfect bite and canines. Superb type and expression, eyes and ears. Wide and powerful front, good lenght of neck into correct topline and the tail is set as it should be, powerful hindquarters and back movement. Temperament spot on. I honestly can't fault this boy. He is just so ultra balanced and typy, now fully ready for championships. Handled very well. What a pleasure to go over him. Fingers crossed for his future show career! BD BIS

1st BULLCAMITCH EDDIE (MR D KIRK)
2 years old, beautiful rich red and white, very powerful male, just superb bone. Very smart markings and ring presence. Screams masculinity. Playful and excited, therefore unsettled in movement. Very good, powerful head, correct mouth, uses his ears well, nice expression. Good neck, superb wide front, feet slightly outwards. Body seems to be a little bit loose, but overall a very attractive male, well handled in a perfect condition. I'd like to see what does he produces!
2nd RUBBISE BIG AL (MR A HAASE)
2 years old, brindle and white male. Smaller then No1, great markings giving him a very nice, smart look. He has a very good head in front and profile, very nice keen eye, perfect mouth, good neck into decent shoulders and overall he is a very well made dog. Pity, he was a bit shy and not impressed with being in the ring. Needs more ring practice and would improve in time. Presented in a lovely condition and handled well.

Tricoloured, very typy male with a great bone to his size. Wicked expression by a very tiny eyes and lovely shaped ears. Great head in front and profile, curved and filled nicely. Level mouth with correctly placed canines. Wide, straight front, good reach of neck into good shoulders. This male has beautiful make and shape and a short back, the things I love and they seem to be consistent qualities under this affix, congratulations. A pleasure to go over. RBD

1st BRIDEN FUN LOVIN CRIMINAL AT KARMARA (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
What a perfect name for this dog! 7 years old, loving life, in a perfect physical and mental condition. Large male with a very good make and shape and a very good movement. He presented a healthy, typical for this breed, playful, puppy- like attitude and he owned the ring entirely. Full of himself, vocal and of a very pleasant disposition. An attitude and condition which in veteran class deserved the 1st placement. Pleasure to watch.
2nd RAGNAROK BALDER AT POLANCA (MISS L SHEPPARD)
Impressive condition for the age of over 13 years old! Still very showy and presenting his famous great make and shape and correct movement. Head is very masculine, strong and very well filled from every angle. The markings give him a very smart look and a great ring presence. Plenty of bone. Great dog that is known by many and such a pleasure to see him delivering. Congratulations to all involved.
3rd ROMAGNA RUMOUR HAS IT (MR & MRS M & Y MORGANS)
As I mentioned in the introduction to this report, for me, judging veterans is a very hard task. I wish I could give every each of them their deserved first place. This bitch has a fantastic, very well curved and deep head, she showed like a dream and I really struggled here with my placements. She looks absolutely great not only for her age, she is a very beautiful example of a bull terrier female in general. She was in a perfect condition, in tune with her handler and enjoyed her time in the ring. Thank you for showing her under me.

Red and white, very powerful, superb size and superb bone, with an amazing, packed, completely filled head. Very smart markings. She looks a perfect brood bitch material, will surely produce something very special, considering her strong features like power, bone and head. Very nice make and shape, just touch long in the back. Beautiful front and feet and lovely expression. Quality all over. Showing well in an immaculate condition. RBB
2nd UKUSA FORTUITOUS AT JASNA (MRS & MR A & J GIBBS)
Close call! Another strong female and a superb construction. Very quality and proportionate, with a very good ring presence. A little less attractive expression to the 1st and I would prefer better set ears. Her head is nicely filled with a feminine curve. Good reach of neck into good shoulders. Another one with a very good bone and power, perfect for a brood bitch. Handled well and in a great shape.

1st EVANNASTAR'S KINKY MALINKY (MISS J MURRAY)
Nearly 8 months old white female in development phase, her head has a nice profile, still has to fill in. Beautiful, keen expression and tidy, straight front. Very feminine and typy. Very proportional body and correct make and shape, to be critical I'd I would prefer a better tail set. Lot to come yet, very promising puppy as the make and shape is very nice, she also moves ok, typical for the breed.

1st KARMARA'S TOUGH TYGER (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
1 year old, of a very nice brindle and white colour, large size. Very beautiful, correct make and shape, which I have noticed and liked straight away. Correct shoulder placement. Showy girl, with a lovely temperament and attractive markings. Very good profile. Pleasure to watch her showing herself and handled expertly . To be ultra critical, I'd prefer her to be shorter. However her lovely make and shape was worth awarding the 1st today. She also moved very well and was in an immaculate condition.
2nd BEAVERDEN ATOMIC (MRS F DENNISON)
Very feminine, 1 year old puppy bitch, smaller then the 1st but what a lovely square shape and my favourite short back! Beautiful head profile, eye a bit too kind to give that pierced expression that I am looking for. She seemed not very keen on showing today. She surely is an attractive and promising puppy, I'd only prefer more fire- like temperament. She has a nice front and a good neck into decent shoulders, very nice hindquarters & back angulation. Showed in a perfect condition.

1st UNIONBUL'S HUNTRESS (MRS & MR R & J SULLIVAN)
20 months old, white bitch in a lovely show condition, she has a superb head with a lovely sweeping down profile, great width to it and a correct mouth. Lovely clean, straight front and cat-like tidy feet, good reach of neck into correct shoulders into typical for the breed top line and correctly set tail. A bit long in back and could be taller on legs for a better balance. Beautiful, pleasant disposition. Very nice bitch and handled well.

Exactly 2 years old on the day of the show, striking, tricoloured bitch. Oozing type, femininity and quality, all together. Expression is fantastic, her eyes and ears are just lovely, the head is absolutely superb, lovely profile and width to it. Mouth just off with perfectly placed canines. Very short in back, exactly how I like. Not a very big in size but does not matter, as its the quality that I am looking for. She is just a little quicksilver, showy pretty bitch with a great make and shape and a head to die for. Very lively temperament, a pleasure to watch her showing and being handled expertly. To be ultra critical I'd put a pound or two on her, to complete the look. Very much my cup of tea. BB

Nearly 2½ year old female of a bigger size then the 1st, a very good head profile, enough fill under the eyes. Would prefer better ear placement for a better expression. Her make and shape is lovely, with a superb straight front and good cat-like feet, good neck into correct shoulders, nice body lines and hindquarters. Presented in a spot on condition, showed and handled very well.

1st UKUSA SYMPHONY AT ARCHETYPE (MS ANDREA GATES)
2½ years old, brindle and white, very typy, feminine and elegant bitch. Lovely turned profile and good length and depth to her head. Love her feminine expression. Perfect bite and canines. She has a superb, straight front and tidy cat-like feet, good body construction, I'd prefer a bit shorter back. In a perfect, showy condition, she was also very happy and focused on working with her handler , which was a pleasure to watch.
