My sympathies go to the original Judge for the day, Mr Skip Greaney (Auburn USA), who was unfortunately delayed in transit for so long he would have missed the show completely. Skip, you owe me one! I would like to thank the Coloured Bull Terrier Club, its members and the Committee for the last-minute invitation, the warm and friendly welcome and generous hospitality. Almost 9 years old well marked upstanding brindle & white dog, The years have been kind to him. A well-turned head with depth & fill, keen in eye, neat well-placed ears, very good front, tight feet, good bend of stifle, moved better in front than rear, well handled, he thoroughly enjoyed his day and deserved his victory.
2nd UKUSA ANARCHIST AT JASNA (MRS & MR A & J GIBBS)
Red and white dog, slightly broken profile, would prefer more fill and under jaw, front a little loose, slightly long cast, rear quarters ok, moved better behind than in front, well handled and presented.

Mouth incorrect, strong neck, good front, needs to body up, but has time on his side, good top-line, short coupled., good rear quarters, moved fairly-well both ways, preferred the power and substance of 1. Well handled.

2 years 10 month old brindle and white dog, upstanding dog with good round bone, wide head and deep muzzle, enough profile, tiny eye and neat well placed ears, although reluctant to use them, however, when he does, expression is there, good mouth, strong neck leading to a good front and cat like feet, a tad long cast, top-line ok, good bend of stifle, good tail carriage, moved a tad wide coming and a little close behind, well presented and handled.

26 month old black brindle and white dog, Eye catching dog who took my eye as soon as he entered the ring. In top condition, good well-turned head with enough width and fill, oblique eye and correct ear placement give a punishing expression. Lovely length of neck flows into a clean shoulder with a good front and tidy feet, moderate length in back with a good top-line, deliver a beautifully balanced overall picture. Strong well angulated rear quarters allow him to move freely with purpose and drive when he eventually settles. The handler needs to get the correct speed to avoid pacing, something I’m sure he is aware of but needs to watch out for. That said his outstanding quality and balance should see him go all the way to the top. It was indeed a pleasure to award him BD BOB BIS.

Sympathetically handled.

1st BLAZINBULLYS DARK STAR (MR & MRS S & R MATHISON) 2 year 9 month old brindle and white, tall upstanding bitch with bone and substance, but totally feminine, good gently sweeping head, filled right up with a strong under jaw, neat well placed ears, nice dark eye with a cunning expression, correct mouth, lovely reach of neck, straight front with a lovely lay of shoulder, good top-line, strong rear quarters with good angulations, moved good coming a little close going, but with purpose and drive, very well handled. 2nd RAZORSEDGE WALK THIS WAY WITH FERGUSTAFF (MRS L J MARSHALLSAY)
2 year and 5 month old brindle and white bitch, Strong well-turned head with good finish. Good mouth, long arched neck, decent front, would prefer a tad more length in upper arm. Short back and good tail set. Well-developed thighs and strong hindquarters moved ok coming, a little close going, handled very well.
