Typey 10 months old white with head markings, beautiful head turned and filled with correct mouth and
a keen expression. Good front with tight feet and good shoulders. Back is short and quarters are
strong all making for a nicely balanced dog. Moved well when settled (SM)
Substantial white dog, 10 months old who has lots of type despite his young age. Strong profile with
turn and fill under the eye and a correct mouth to top it off. Shoulders are well placed, leading into a
very strong front. Movement was a little loose but to be expected of a youngster. Plenty of bone for
his size with a short back. Very well balanced. I look forward to seeing him as he matures. (LS)

What a stunning bitch! This brindle lady, just seven months old, caught my eye as soon as she
walked into the ring. The most beautiful, sweeping profile, finished off with a correct mouth. A good
topline and perfect tail set, with the most cat like feet. Good shoulder placement leaves her with a
strong front, even for a little baby. Lovely rear angulation. She made her handler work for it in terms
of movement and she is still a little loose but this is to be expected for such a youngster. Presented
in beautiful condition and I cannot wait to see her in the ring as she matures. (LS)
7 month old well marked brindle and white, beautiful feminine head with a good profile, neat ears and
a good eye giving a lovely expression, front and shoulders are good, compact body shape with good
quarters and tail set, nice bone and good feet, moved well. (SM)

It was such an honour to be chosen to judge the bitch classes at the Notts and Derby Limit Show and
I will always be truly grateful to the committee for my first ever judging appointment. I had a
fantastic day and I feel very lucky that so many exhibitors, both new and established, were happy to
let me judge their dogs. Thank you so much to the committee for a very well run shown and to the
stewards, Chris Wright and Matt and Kerri Bradley, for keeping me on track. And finally, thank you to
my fellow Judge, Sean Morris; so glad I got to share my first judging experience with you.

1st VILLENSIA VIRTUOSO (MISS L VILLENSIA)
It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to judge this beautiful tri-colour bitch who I have admired
from the side of the ring on a number of occasions. At five years old, still beautifully balanced and
ultra-feminine. Profile has ample turn and a good amount of fill under the eyes. Ears are set
perfectly and a great top line. Tail set is correct and shown in perfect condition, with lovely tight
feet. Correct mouth.
2nd TILLEAH GYPSY BIKER (MRS T MOORE)
6½ year old white bitch with brindle ear markings. Although lacking a little in turn of profile
to (1), she is well-constructed. Good shoulder placement leads to a strong front. Ultra tight feet and
good top line. Correct mouth with well placed ears. A good mover and more than ample amount of
bone for size. Works well with her handler; they make a great team.
3rd TULSADOOM NINKI NANKA (MR & MRS D & T WESTWOOD)
Four year old white bitch with eye marking. Lovely turn of profile and good fill under the eyes. Lots
of strength in muzzle. Mouth fault. Well placed ears, good topline and tight feet. Tail is set correctly,
however, moved a little close behind. Handled very well – she really did show herself off.

profile with ears bang on top. Lovely length of neck, tight feet and very good rear angulation.
Overall, very balanced. This girl works very well with her handler; they make a great team. Presented
in lovely condition. I am sure she will do very well as she matures.
3rd LARONBELLES SERPENTINE (MR & MRS & MISS A & A & E J TWYMAN)
This brindle girl, just 10 months old, also had a smooth profile, with a good amount of fill under her
eyes, finished off with small well-placed ears. Eyes are a little kind. Correct mouth and movement
was parallel. Tail set is also correct.

1st TULSADOOM MESHUGGENEH (MR & MRS D & T WESTWOOD)
16 months old white bitch, with a brindle ear marking. Very typy, feminine and beautifully balanced.
Nice sweeping profile with the keenest of expressions. Unfortunately, she does have a notable
mouth fault but, in my opinion, just one factor for me to look at today and her overall quality shone
through. Good top line and ultra-short back. Carries her tail a little high, at times. Drives forward
when on the move, with those lovely tight feet. Handled to perfection.
2nd QUENTINHILL MESMEREYESING (MR A BENITEZ)
Just over 12 months old white bitch, with small brindle markings on her eyes. Did not have the profile
of (1), but did have a keen expression, with piercing eyes. Mouth was correct. Ample bone for size
and a good tail set. I would have liked a little more by way of rear angulation and moved a little close
behind. However, lovely cat-like feet and presented in good condition.

1st LAST CHANCE FOR MAGIC (MR R GALLOWAY)
Almost two years old, red and white bitch, who, again, took my eye immediately. So well-balanced
with a sweeping profile; a bit more fill would have completed the picture. Correct mouth and small,
well placed ears. Lovely length of neck and beautifully tight feet. Excellent top line and a great
mover, with an ultra-short back. There is no denying this girl is constructed well and so it was a
pleasure to be able to award her RBB
2nd TRESZIA DEVILS QUILLA (MR & MS H & A KITTLE & LONGHURST)
2½ year old white bitch. Good profile with turn and fill under the eyes, made even better
with her keen expression. Ears are bang on top. Good shoulder placement with a strong front.
Mouth fault, although, in my opinion, outweighed by her virtues. Excellent top line, short back and
tight feet. Overall, very balanced and shown in great condition. She clearly had lots of fun in the ring
which was really nice to see.
3rd BRIDEN DIAMANT NOIR (MR & MRS B & D SMALLEY)
Just over one year old brindle bitch who is uber typy. Strong profile, with the sharpest of expressions
and a true roman finish. Good ear placement. Unfortunately, a notable mouth fault, although that is
just one of the factors for me to consider today and this girl’s quality shown through nonetheless.
Tail set perfectly and strong rear-angulation. Shown in immaculate condition.

A powerhouse brindle bitch, just how I like them, at just over two years old. Lovely head, with a
strong muzzle and under jaw. Profile could do with a tad more turn and a little more fill under the
eyes. A beautiful front, with excellent shoulder placement and perfect top line. Lovely, tight feet,
correct tail set and good rear angulation. Movement was parallel, however, I would have liked a little
more drive. Overall, a very balanced girl with lots of type.

20 months old, tricolour bitch, what a show girl – she did not take her eyes off her handler!! Very
well balanced and shown in gleaming condition. Nice profile, although I would have liked a tad more
turn. Ears are small and placed well. Beautiful top line, with good shoulder placement and a strong
front. Correct mouth. Good tail set and tight feet. Lacking a little in rear angulation.
