It was a great honour to be asked to judge this show. The snow arrived at lunchtime. There was a great atmosphere and some gorgeous dogs to judge. It was good to be back in the midst of it after the long covid absence.

All white male with maximum substance, big head with good profile and filled muzzle, good mouth, nice eye, straight front, good bone, tight feet, short backed, good condition, moved well.
2nd BIG ALAN (MR & MISS J J & C E VEITCH & HILL)
White who was unhappy in the ring. Lacking in profile, good mouth, straight front and good feet, required more weight.

All white compact, cobby and balanced terrier type. Lovely profile and good expression, good mouth, straight front, tight feet, short backed, shapely quarters, moved well. Improves every time I see this boy.
2nd VILLENSIA SWEENEY TODD (MISS L VILLENSIA)
Tall upstanding white with black ears. Good profile and expression, one tooth out, good bone, good shoulders, straight front, good length of back, moved ok coming and going.

Well marked brindle and white male. Lovely masculine head that is wide and has a good profile, good mouth. Nice eye and expression, good length of neck, lovely bone, untidy feet, good length of back, strong quarters, moved well in the rear when settled but front movement could be better
2nd BLUEPOINT PATCHOGUE AT MIANDALE (MR & MRS M & A DODD)
White with black ear and eye. Very typey, balanced terrier type. Lovely profile, lacking slightly in muzzle power to 1st. Good mouth. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, straight front and good feet, short backed, strong rear end and moved well. Just preferred the muzzle power of 1st.

1st MEILOW MOST WANTED (MRS & MR L & M GRIEVES)
Big substantial and compact tricolour. Who although a big lad is still balanced and typey, not coarse at all. Big masculine head, with enough profile, power packed muzzle, good mouth, lovely expression for a coloured. Lovely strong neck, good shoulder placement, straight front with excellent bone, good feet, short backed, great rear end with muscular quarters, in excellent condition, moved well. Was very pleased to award him the CC , He then went on to win Res BIS. DCC
2nd ELLAKRU ITS ALL ABOUT ME (MR & MISS D & G GAUSDEN & LADE)
Well marked typey and compact brindle and white. Lovely power packed head, lovely profile and muzzle power, good mouth, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, super front and bone, good feet, good length of back, excellent muscled quarters, moved really well parallel and with drive. Very close decision with 1st. The decider was the slightly shorter length of back of 1st. Very pleased to award him RCC. RDCC

Well marked brindle and white, Top drawer bitch who alas has more than a slight mouth fault, undershot. Beautiful head completely arced and filled, lovely bodylines, good bone and straight front, shapely quarters, moved well.

The belle of the ball. 11 months super elegant and feminine, from the top drawer. White with small eye patch. Lovely flowing bodylines, superb head completely arced and filled but still feminine. Good mouth, super expression, lovely ramrod front with good feet, excellent neck and shoulders, good length of back, shapely quarters, moved well and with ease. So much more to come with this absolutely top quality bitch. Congratulations to her breeders and owners. Was very pleased to award her, her 1st CC, she then beat the dog for BOB and also Best Puppy.
