Would like to thank the society for the invite and hospitality first time ever at this show but one I would certainly make the effort to attend again. Although not a big entry an entry of excellent quality all round with some close decisions in the classes. I have to say that in all my years of showing and judging I have never come across such a situation as for whatever reason today it seemed many of the males wanted to have a shouting contest and call each other out and at one point I even thought about dismissing some exhibits but relative calm did prevail in the end. To all exhibitors please remember you show very powerful dogs and it is our duty to control them we were lucky enough to have quite a large ring which allowed for “space” Ring training has a very important part to play in showing please make sure you put the time and effort in before you venture into the ring.

1st BLUEPOINT SUB ZERO (MR & MISS D & L HULME & DODGSON)
Young dog with I believe an outstanding future He is still maturing and his potential is all before him. White with a solid block of a head width, depth and strength in muzzle, good eye placement and expression. Straight front and deep chest with just the right amount of bone for his size correct shoulder lay and length of back has good muscular quarters and second thigh. Moved well both ways but does need a bit more drive in his stride. RDCC
2nd NEVERLAND DEVILS OWN (MRS D Y GODSALL)
Red and white who really does have a mind of his own. Very well made terrier type. Has a long filled head with correct eye and ear placement. Unfortunately (through an accident) has lost a canine but has a correct scissor bite. A lovely long neck leading to a correct lay of shoulder and on to a solid back end good spring of rib which makes for a well balanced picture and is still maturing. Down side movement very difficult to assess to many distractions around in and around the ring despite his handlers’ best efforts, very frustrating.

1st SPARTIATE PICASSO (MR & MRS D A & S M HACKETT)
White super heavyweight dog with again bags of potential. No doubting he is a male strong wide and deep head and correct eye and ear placement giving that look at me expression, correct mouth. Straight fronted with impressive depth of chest and rib cage. Shade long in back but finished off with a powerful rear. Very much likes his own way and needs to learn some etiquette in the ring. Full marks to his handler who did well to control his exuberance. Does move well with drive when is mind is on the job.
2nd MOONFLOWER TUMEN OF KARMARA (IMP HUN) (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
An upstanding white dog with many positive virtues Classical head with a nice profile and fill good eye placement his ears are not his fortune being quite heavy. Has a good flow in neck and well laid shoulders. Another with super depth of chest and well sprung ribs finishing off with a well rounded backend. On the move covers the ground well coming but found he was a bit choppy behind. Well presented and handled.

1st TEIRWGWYN PHANTOM JESTER FOR UKUSA (MR & MRS & MRS G & A & F NEWBERRY & MILLS)
Stood alone but a very nicely made red and white male who ticks a lot of boxes. Well filled head and correct amount of profile. Correct mouth eye and ear placement. Straight front nice feet good lay of shoulder depth of chest well sprung ribs well turned stifles all positives moved freely both ways and was well handled but, in the challenge, just seemed flat and did not make the most of himself but definitely one with lots of potential

1st VETSBULLIES JESUS OF BRIDEN (MR & MRS B & D SMALLEY)
Power packed black brindle who was brimming with confidence and liked the sound of his own voice but like other here today when he concentrated on the job in hand made the most of himself. Mature male who needs to be handled to be fully appreciated has a wicked eye and expression well filled head with right amount of downface and width of muzzle completing the picture Well placed ears mouth not 100% but not enough to sway my decision. Powerful neck leading to correct shoulder placement standing over a straight front with elbows tucked in. Well sprung ribs complementing a great deep broad chest. Close coupled with powerful quarters and well developed second thigh. When moving and gotten over the distractions in the other rings settled well and moved with drive and fluidity. Well done to his handler for her perseverance in keeping his mind on the job. DCC
2nd MEGAVILLES RECKLESS (MR & MRS P & A BLAIR)
White with red ear patch Quality heavyweight dog who stands four square Solid head with a wicked eye and correct mouth. He is a little stuffy in neck and does not have the best lay of shoulder. Lots of bone with a straight front and great depth in chest and rib Rear has good angulation and well let down hocks. Movement ok for a dog of his size. Well presented and handled especially with all the distractions around him.

1st ATHENA BEAUTY WISDOM AND WAR (MISS E W A WOJCIK )
White 10 month old puppy very immature but a bitch with promise. Correct mouth and has a gentle profile. Good length of neck and lay of shoulder leading to a straight front and tidy feet Level topline and nice back end and good bend of stifle. Movement needs some work, handler needs to put get in tune with her to get the best out of her and she could turn into quite a nice show girl. BP

1st SERENBULL SOUL ANGEL (MRS & MISS & MISS S & K & L NISBET & KELLY & KELLY)
Red and white feminine bitch who has an elegant head with just right amount of fill and turn correct mouth well placed eyes and ears. Has an overall balance to her with good shoulder, front and rear. Moved well and as one with handler. To be critical although there is no height weight in the KC standard would just like a bit more of her as she could be overshadowed by others in her class having said that overall a very pretty bitch
2nd UKUSA REVERIE AT DACHSHINBUL (MR & MRS G & J COX & O'REILLY)
Black brindle and white who is well put together. Head is nicely filled with a good mouth eye and ear placement has a flowing neck and topline with strong back end and moved well. In the end a close decision between 1st and 2nd which could reverse on another day. Gave to winner having just that bit more “sparkle” on the day

1st VILLENSIA VIRTUOSO (MISS L VILLENSIA)
Tricolour bitch who has an absolutely stunning profiled head being long well filled with correct ear and eye placement giving a lovely expression. Correct bone and substance, Neck that flows into correct shoulders and a straight front and tidy feet. Good spring of rib and angulated back end moved with drive for her handler. Down side has an instanding canine and when standing stretches out creating a slopping topline causing her to look unbalanced handler just need to get her on her toes to pull her up. I must also comment on her coat which absolutely gleams
2nd VETSBULLIES JEALOUSY (DRS O A & L C GALLA)
White completely different type to the class winner. Heavy weight upstanding bitch nicely balanced all over. Powerful head with good expression Shoulders front feet all fit together. Would like a shorter back but kept her topline on the move moving freely with good stride fore and aft. Unfortunately, her coat was not in good condition which did detract from the overall picture especially against the 1st in class.

2 year old white bitch with black ear. Very well made, power packed head with excellent expression, turn and fill not overdone. Correct mouth, Ramrod front with well tucked in elbows and tidy feet. Good depth of chest and sprung rib Nicely rounded muscular back end with strong second thigh and bend of stifle. Moved well both ways with drive well handled loved her overall balance. RBCC

Black brindle and white a quality bitch again not overdone. Solid head shape with just enough profile and good expression although would like better ear placement. Correct mouth clean neck shoulders good round bone all round neat feet. Deep chest and rib cage and well put together rear end moved very well both ways well presented and handled.

My BOB and star of the day. White bitch of outstanding quality. Strong feminine long head with excellent eye and ear placement giving an alert expression at all times. Scissor bite. Neck withers and topline all flow into each other giving a very good clean outline. Correct lay of shoulder leading down to a straight front and tight feet. Nice depth of chest complemented by fully sprung ribs. Standing has well angulated hindquarters and stifle which she uses to full effect on the move covering the ground with ease a joy to watch. Overall a classic bull terrier in make shape and balance. Well handled and presented BCC BOB
2nd TRICK OR TREAT MY HIGHLAND LASSIE O (ATCAT01532FRA) (MR F J A PARAZUELO)
Mature tricolour with nice shapely head with lot of fill and turn. Correct mouth good eye placement and ear carriage. Well proportioned neck and correct lay of shoulder Level topline and short backed. Moved well both ways but has a tendency to turn her feet out when in show stance.
