Being invited to judge at the 75th anniversary of South Eastern Counties Bull Terrier Club was already a joy and an honour for me, but I also had the pleasure of being warmly welcomed by a friendly and very professional committee. I would like to sincerely thank them all, in particular for the moving gift they took care to offer me.
My thanks also go to the breeders and exhibitors who made the trip. I was delighted with the quality and the number of dogs entered. I particularly appreciated the relaxed atmosphere of the show and the sympathy of the exhibitors.

1st DAEDALION BIG DADDY CHAD (MR D PAYNE)
22 months old male, white with a brindle ear, an excellent powerful head full of substance to the end of the muzzle, excellent profile, mouth OK, powerful lower jaws, the ears are very well placed with small black, triangular eyes which gives him a very nice expression. Very good topline which holds in movement, with a beautiful neck and a rather short body. Excellent shoulder angulation, the elbow is well placed with a correct length of humerus, very good rear angulations. Excellent feet and tail set. Nice parallel movement front and back. A young dog full of promise who should, with maturity and a little more substance, confirm all his potential. RBD RBIS

8 months old white male with an excellent profile and a superb expression, reversed incisors with contact, very good shoulder, humerus a little short, elbow could be a little better placed, very good topline, excellent rear angulation. Excellent feet, tail set could be better. Movement still juvenile, but moves very well for his age

A full head with a very nice expression, a little reluctant to wear his ears vertically, a nice classic profile without excess. Mouth OK. Excellent shoulder, very good humerus, very good rear angulations, excellent topline, very good tail set, excellent compact feet. Parallel movement in the front slightly tight in the back. Young dog with a lot of presence, in perfect condition, presented with dexterity. BD BIS

18 months old red and white male, excellent profile, mouth OK, the muzzle could be more powerful and the head better filled, very good expression. Excellent shoulder, topline and rear angulations. Excellent movement in the front a little close in the back. Could have more bone and substance in general.

Black brindle male 2 years old. The profile could be more regular, and the head a little fuller under the eyes. Very good expression, two lower canines badly positioned. Brindle and white male, 19 months old, could have a little more regular profile and more substance in the head. Teeth OK. Elegantly built, high front with excellent shoulder and humerus, excellent rear angulation, excellent topline. Could have a little more bone and substance overall. Excellent feet, excellent movement. Tail set a little high.

White male with 2 brindle ears 5 years old, Excellent profile and expression, could have a little more power in the muzzle and a little more substance under the eyes. Narrow lower jaw lacking power, two lower canines poorly positioned. Excellent shoulder, correct humerus, excellent topline and rear angulations. Short compact dog, with a very nice parallel movement in front and back.
2nd RUBBISE BIG AL (MR A HAASE)
Brindle and white male, almost 4 years old, with a nice profile, a full head to the tip of the muzzle, mouth OK, excellent eyes, reluctant to lift his ears. The shoulder could be better angled and the humerus is a bit short. The topline has a carped loin. The movement is parallel in front and tight in the back.

Superb 14 years old red and white veteran, always very present in the ring. A long head with a very nice profile without exaggeration, excellent expression, superb neck giving on a still solid and horizontal topline. Excellent shoulder associated with a perfectly proportioned and positioned humerus, it is unfortunately rare to see this quality nowadays. Excellent tail set, excellent rear angulation, very good feet. Still an excellent movement for his age. This dog is an example of good construction for the breed, I am delighted to have been able to appreciate it. BV

Pretty 7 years old red and white female. Head a bit short, nice profile that lacks a bit of roman finish, solid muzzle, mouth OK. Very good topline, excellent shoulder, humerus is too short, excellent rear angulation. Parallel movement in the front, tight in the back.

1st CIGANO LITTLE MISS THUNDER AT TEWKABULL (MR J TEWKESBURY)
Female tricolour of 2 years and 8 months, very feminine, very elegant, superb lines. Excellent profile, mouth OK, excellent neck, excellent shoulder, correct humerus, very good topline, excellent rear angulation, and tail set. A short and fairly compact bitch, a small model. I would have liked a fuller head, a more powerful jaw and a little more bone. Excellent movement.
2nd MIINROC ENVY ME (MISS F MILLS)
9 years old red and white female, very good profile, lacks a little substance under the eyes which could be more triangular, reversed incisors with contact, very good topline, the shoulder could be a little more sloping and the humerus longer. Excellent rear angulation and tail set, very good feet.

I would have liked a better sloping shoulder, and a longer and better oriented humerus, the elbow could be better placed. Very good rear movement. In perfect condition, perfectly presented.
