Thank you to the committee for the invite to judge and for my stewards for their sterling assistance. It was a very well run and enjoyable show. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for the opportunity to judge their dogs. The standard was extremely high with a number of world class bull terriers present; it was often a matter of splitting hairs for the top placements.

Top quality 7½ year old red & white dog that belies his years. Lovely turned and filled head, mouth undershot. Loads of bone, straight front and tight feet. Level topline, deep brisket, correct length of back. Very well angulated front and rear resulting in an excellent mover, parallel, true and with drive. BEST VETERAN IN SHOW
2nd ALDAMAR POWER STORM AT PHUNSIZE SHCM (DRS A BENNETT)
7 year old well marked black brindle & white, sweeping well arced profile and decent fill, mouth just nipping off. Straight front, steep angulation front and rear, level topline, moved well coming, slightly close behind.

Eye catching 8 month old white puppy dog, super sweeping profile, exceptionally deep head with punishing expression. Straight front, decent back length, deep brisket with very well angled backend, still puppyish and loose which should tighten with age. Very promising youngster that just needs to fill his frame and who I was pleased to award BP

Promising red & white 7 month old boy with smooth profile, good fill and perfect bite. Strong round bone, straight front and tight feet. Slightly steep croup and a little over extended hock but strong, good second thigh. Somewhat unsteady on the move; just needed to settle.

Major league powerhouse red & white dog with masses of bone and substance. Strong sweeping profile, super fill under the eye and good bite, a truly power packed head. Straight front, tight feet, adequate forechest just slightly short in forearm. Deep brisket, short loin, decent second thigh and correct bend of stifle. Moves with a jaunty air. He appeared to have hurt his tail today, which put him off his normal game.
2nd BEEBEEMI GRANDMASTER FLASH (MISS DONNA MITCHELL)
Quality red & white dog with smooth well filled head, not quite the power of one, mouth OK. Good reach of neck into clean well laid-back shoulders. Round bone, straight front, level topline and short coupled. Strongly muscled second thigh and well bent stifle, stood four square, moved true coming and going with drive.

Upstanding white boy with brindle eye patch. Smooth profile, long well filled head and mouth ok. Straight front, tight feet, well laid-back shoulder and level topline. Just needs a little more time to mature and fill his frame. Moved well in the front, close behind. Misbehaving today, making his handler work hard.
2nd ROMAGNA GAME ON (MR & MRS M & Y MORGANS)
Powerful white dog with a deep arcing head, packed under the eye and keen expression, incisors just under. Straight front, cat like tight feet, would like better lay of shoulder and more reach of neck but short backed, good bone and a decent back end. Moved quite well both ways, but played up, so difficult to assess.

1st BOBUDDY BRONN (MR S ROFF)
Pure powerhouse white dog with masses of bone and substance. His head is deep and filled with a keen eye. Could use more profile and has slightly misplaced incisors but it is behind the collar that this boy really excels. From his solid long neck, immense round bone, superb muscle tone, straight gun barrel front, cat like feet, excellent shoulders, deep brisket and short coupled loin to his perfectly angled stifle and muscular second thigh, he stood four square owning every inch of the ground he stood on. His superb construction showed on the move - parallel, true and with immense drive. A strong contender for top honours.
2nd RAGNAROK FJALAR (MR & MRS M & A TAYLOR)
Quality red & white boy, nicely arced profile, well filled under the eye, mouth level. Good round bone but have seen him with a little more substance in the past which suited, decent front, good forechest, deep brisket, well let down hocks and strong quarters, a shade long cast. Moved ok fore and aft.

Another of the top contenders, a lovely rich brindle & white dog with a superb smooth rugby ball shaped head possessing no indentations with a perfect mouth. Ramrod straight front leading into the tightest of feet, well laid-back shoulders, correct upper arm length with a resulting deep forechest. Deep brisket, level topline and decent rear quarters. To be pedantic, would just like a shade more roach over the croup. Moves well coming and going. Well handled.

Beautifully presented dog with snow white jacket. Gentle profile, long deep head with decent fill. Sparkling white, big, perfectly locked over teeth, abundant round bone and substance, straight front, slightly loose toes. Well laid shoulders, level topline, adequate length of back. Nice quarters with well angled stifles. Moved ok both ways. A credit to his owner and handler.

1st TEIRWGWYN TOP GUN (MRS & MISS A J & N ROBERTS)
Phenomenally virtuous tricolour dog whose outstanding head raises the bar - in profile, strength, fill and power - to a whole different level of excellence. He also has a perfect bite and although not a huge dog, his frame is cobby and full of tight hard muscle. He has a very powerful thick neck, albeit not super long, a straight front, tight feet, well sprung rib, super short back, correct tail set, good second thigh and decent rear angulation. He just exudes breed type and masculinity. He moves with a rolling jaunty gait. Exceptional dog that I was pleased to award his qualifying CC DCC BIS
2nd BROOKBULLY AVENGER (MR J EMETT)
Ultra quality white dog with red head markings. A lackadaisical show boy, but when he rises on his toes, he presents an outstanding picture. His substantial long, arced, filled to the brim head is textbook egg shaped. Bite ok, keen eye and well placed ears. Good reach of neck, straight front and tidy feet. Good shoulders, deep brisket, well tucked up loin, short back and well set on tail. Good rear quarters and bend of stile. Movement ok, coming and going. Overall a very well balanced, close to the standard dog that I was pleased to award RDCC

7 month old black brindle girl with a few breaks in coat pattern. Beautiful head – smooth, turned and filled with excellent muzzle strength. Wicked expression, keen eye, well placed ears with a perfect bite. Good forechest, straight front, decent lay of shoulder, would just like an inch out of her back. Super bone and substance throughout, nicely roached over the croup and well placed tail set. Strong rump and well let down hocks. Moved ok. Very promising puppy.

Really nicely made 10 month old white bitch. Head is long and filled, keen eye, well placed ears, mouth ok, would prefer a shade more profile. Correct reach of neck, straight front, well angled front and rear, short in back, level topline and well bent stifles. Plenty of bone and substance for age, moved reasonably well both ways.

A long reaching neck into nicely laid back shoulders, decent forechest, straight front and tight feet, just a fraction short in upper arm. Enough bone and substance for her type and the shortest of backs. Deep brisket, very well tucked up under the loin, nicely muscled second thigh and excellent bend of stifle. Plenty of bone and substance, decent front, level topline, short coupled, good second thigh and bend of stifle, has a tendency to carry her tail a little high. Moves well coming and shade close behind.

Lovely red & white girl, sharp expression and good ear carriage, gentle profile that just needs a shade more depth and fill under the eye, bite ok. Long reachy neck and well laid-back shoulders. Gun barrel front, tight feet, short back, faultless topline remaining stable on the move, powerful bone and substance, excellent bend of stifle and muscled second thigh. Showed and handled beautifully, and in exemplary condition.

Well marked red & white bitch. Pretty head with nicely turned profile, small eye and correct dentition, just needs a tad more depth and strength. A smartly made showy girl with straight front, tidy feet, good length of forearm just a mite steep in angulation. Held topline, a fraction long cast, decent rear quarters with well let down hocks, moved well coming a touch close behind.

Red & white bitch with a powerful head, good length, well arced profile, decent fill and good bite. Decent bone and substance, good front, feet not as tight as one. Shade upright in shoulder, but decent upper arm length and holds her topline on the move. Nice all round girl, just not showing her best today.

Long reachy neck into straight front and tight feet, well laid back shoulder, just a fraction short in upper arm. Ultra short back, deep ribcage well tucked up under the loin. Well angled rear end, stands four square and just exudes breed type. Moved well both ways. Splitting hairs, her high tail carriage today just spoiled the picture. Very close call.

Well constructed behind the collar, strong neck, deep forechest, well angled shoulder and correct upper arm length. Plenty of bone and substance, decent front, level topline, short coupled, good second thigh and bend of stifle, has a tendency to carry her tail a little high. Moves well coming and shade close behind.

Lovely red & white girl, sharp expression and good ear carriage, gentle profile that just needs a shade more depth and fill under the eye, bite ok. Long reachy neck and well laid-back shoulders. Gun barrel front, tight feet, short back, faultless topline remaining stable on the move, powerful bone and substance, excellent bend of stifle and muscled second thigh. Showed and handled beautifully, and in exemplary condition.

Well marked red & white bitch. Pretty head with nicely turned profile, small eye and correct dentition, just needs a tad more depth and strength. A smartly made showy girl with straight front, tidy feet, good length of forearm just a mite steep in angulation. Held topline, a fraction long cast, decent rear quarters with well let down hocks, moved well coming a touch close behind.

Super quality white bitch in immaculate condition. Very feminine girl with plenty of bone, substance and breed type. Her head has a long, smooth profile, keen eye and perfect bite, would just like a fraction more depth. Stood four square with a flowing long neck into straight gun barrel front, short back, and an unshakeably level topline. Excellent rear end in both muscle tone and angulation. Moved well coming, a shade close behind.

Red & white bitch with a powerful head, good length, well arced profile, decent fill and good bite. Decent bone and substance, good front, feet not as tight as one. Shade upright in shoulder, but decent upper arm length and holds her topline on the move. Nice all round girl, just not showing her best today.

Another exceptional, top class bitch. A tri coloured girl with a beautiful, perfect turned and filled egg shaped head with neat thin ears and large locked over teeth. Long reachy neck into straight front and tight feet, well laid back shoulder, just a fraction short in upper arm. Ultra short back, deep ribcage well tucked up under the loin. Well angled rear end, stands four square and just exudes breed type. Moved well both ways. Splitting hairs, her high tail carriage today just spoiled the picture. Very close call.
