I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge. Southern Counties has always been one of my favourite shows, so it was nice to get a chance to officiate. Overall, I was pleased with the quality of my entry. Make and shape, bites and temperaments on the whole were very good. Due to the uneven ground and long grass, some exhibits were difficult to assess movement.

1st BLUEPOINT PATCHOGUE (MR & MISS M & A DODD & ROWLANDS)
Small 10 month old cobby white puppy with tri left eye patch. A bit out of coat. Nice profile with good fill and correct bite. Short coupled with excellent substance for age. Moved parallel but lost topline. BP
2nd YOSHI KAWAII (MISS E J MEDLAM)
8 month old white with brindle head markings. Long head with perfect bite, could benefit from more width. OK shoulders, a bit roached, good hind angulation. Moved close going, parallel coming. Needs more weight.

1st NEVERLAND DEVILS OWN (MRS D Y GODSALL)
Large, up on the leg red and white dog with lovely body lines. Super head, packed and turned. Well balanced construction with correct shoulders and bend of stifle. Moved well. He was a handful which made his handler work hard.
2nd ELLAKRU ITS ALL ABOUT ME (MR & MISS D & G GAUSDEN & LADE)
Quality brindle and white youngster, not of the maturity of 1. Nice profile with good fill, could use a little more muzzle strength. Good lay of shoulder with strong fore chest. Moved a little loose and roached which I am sure will improve with maturity.

Richly coloured brindle and white dog with sweeping profile, adequate fill but could use more muzzle strength, correct bite. Short coupled with good second thigh. Movement erratic.

Substantial white dog with nice, smooth arcing profile, enough fill, and wicked expression. Nice round bone with good hind angulation and second thigh. He could benefit from ring craft as he made his handler work hard. RDCC
2nd IRAZISTABULL HADES UPSTART (MR & MISS D P & S MCDONAGH & MCLEISH)
Large, upstanding black brindle and white dog with sweeping profile and correct bite. Good shoulders with strong fore chest, lacking in hind angulation. Moved wide coming, parallel going.

Cobby white dog with black eye flash. Profile ok but would like it a bit smoother, good fill, well placed ears, correct bite. Short coupled, ok shoulders, correct hind angulation with good topline and correct tail placement. Moved well. DCC
2nd CIGANO DARK KNIGHT FOR AFANBULL (MR J W SHEEHY)
Super headed compact black brindle and white dog. His head is powerful, wide, turned and filled with a correct bite. Neck a bit stuffy, but works with his overall compact, powerful build. Short backed with good angulations. His movement lost him higher honours.
3rd CRISALIA BIG POPPA (MR & MRS P & C BUSSON)
Large all white dog with super bone and substance. Gentle profile with excellent width to head and perfect bite. Needs more weight.

Quality 8-year old mature brindle and white bitch with crashing profile, enough fill and correct bite. OK shoulder placement, long cast, well bent stifles, tightest of feet. In super condition and an outstanding showgirl. BV

Outstanding white bitch with black head markings who oozes quality. Beautiful shaped headpiece with smooth, turned head that had excellent fill and width all with a correct bite. Well placed ears with keen expression. Shoulders ok, a little short in forearm, powerful rear quarters and good hind angulation. Moved ok. BCC BOB

Cobby, substantial tricolour bitch with excellent bone. Nice profile which could use a stronger muzzle and underjaw, correct bite. Short coupled. Moved ok but loses topline.

White with black ears. Extreme profile with enough fill, could use a little more underjaw. OK shoulders and hind quarter. Good substance.
3rd KARMARA'S CRIMINAL INTENT (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
Large upstanding white bitch with black ears. Nice profile with enough fill, ears a bit wide. Well made but longish cast.

Beautiful black brindle and white bitch with stunning head. Beautiful, smooth arcing profile, tiny wicked eyes with width and fill and a perfect bite. Correct lay of shoulder, strong second thigh and good bend of stifle. Long cast. Good round bone and tight feet. Correct tail placement. Moved well both ways.

Short coupled black brindle and white bitch with good substance. Head not the smoothness of the first two. Movement difficult to assess.

Solid tricolour with a beautiful headpiece - super arced, power packed with excellent turn and fill making a beautiful rugby ball shape, all with a good bite. Could do with a little more length of foreface. Good lay of shoulder, strong second thigh. Moved well. RBCC

Quality white bitch with red head markings who was unlucky to come across the first two. Nice profile, correct bite. Sure her day will come.
