Awarding my first set of tickets was a day I have looked forward to for quite a long time. I sincerely thank the Show Secretary, Mr. Keith Derry, for his help and warm hospitality. To all exhibitors, please accept my sincere appreciation for trusting me with your entry. I can’t think of a better way to spend a day than to be surrounded by your beautiful Bull Terriers! The footing in the ring was quite tricky; most were able to negotiate the uneven terrain. All but two exhibits had correct dention. I was pleased with the quality of the dogs; this was a day of excellent expressions. Then, I was blown away by the bitches. They were gorgeous, gorgeous and more gorgeous! One after another! There were five of them that any judge would be proud to reward with the CC.

1st GORBAIN DARK DESTROYER BARNESMORE (MISS & MR S E & R L THOMPSON & WOODWARD)
Nicely marked young, brindle male. Head is strong with good width at the muzzle. He has a muscular neck which could use more length. Good topline and tail set. Moved well, just a bit close behind and carried his topline nicely. Beautifully presented.
2nd KENZDUO BLACK BEAN (MISS J THOMAS)
This black brindle and white youngster was having a good time. Compact package with good bone for his size. Excellent expression with small well placed ears, dark varminty eye. Needs to tighten up his pasterns and could use more bend of stifle. His capable handler got the most out of him.

1st KENXTWEN LET'S GO (MISS A TOWNSEND)
Memorable red smut and white boy. He had a completely different idea on how to behave in the show ring. Despite his fun loving personality, it was easy to see he is a high quality dog with plenty of virtue. Compact, loads of bone, short back. He has excellent expression. He was a bit difficult on the move but his handler was able to get the job done.

1st ARICON FIERY EYES AT CLANSMANN (MR & MISS K & A JOWERS)
A well balanced and typy white dog. He ticks every box when it comes to expression. Head is long strong and filled, tiny triangular eyes, ears on top and all comes together in a keen, varminty expression. He is muscled and balanced with a good topline and tail set. Stands a bit wide in front, nice bone and good tight feet. I found his strong short back and overall power very appealing, and this was his day. DCC
2nd BLAZINBULLYS ACE OF SPADES AT LYDSYLL (MR S LEESLEY)
White dog with two eye patches. A very long, filled and and powerful head, muzzle is strong with a gentle curve. Used his small ears well for an excellent expression. Long muscular neck, straight front and neck flows into a correct toplne. Bone is good, balanced front and rear with well developed round muscle. Very alert and attentive to his handler. RDCC

Upstanding and powerfully built white dog with an ear mark. Head is strong and packed with an exaggerated profile. Long neck, good topline and tail set. Powerful dog and well handled.
2nd VETSBULLIES LIVING ON MY OWN (DRS O A & L C GALLA)
All white dog who also has excellent expression. Head is packed, ears on top and teeny tiny well placed eyes. Lovely straight front with good feet. Neck, shoulder, topline and tailset correct and flow nicely. Balanced front to rear. A touch more bone and substance would have made a difference on the day.

Red and white bitch in excellent condition. Head is long with good eye placement. Ears a bit closer together would compliment her expression. Bone is good for her size; good neck and pronounced forechest. Rear quarters nicely angled with correct tailset.

Red smut and white bitch, well prepared for the day. Shown in excellent condition. Head is long; expression is excellent. Long neck, good topline, well angled in rear. Would like her to be a tad shorter in back. Never took her eyes off her handler.
2nd ARICON EYE ECLIPSE CUM ABBAZ (MR M ARMITAGE)
White girl with a tricolour earmark. She was having a bit of a difficult day and wasn’t cooperating with her handler. That being said, she is a very well made and high quality bitch. Strong, feminine head, good neck, shoulder and topline. Correct tailset. Hoping she has a better outing the next time.

Compact white bitch with black brindle ears. Lovely expression; pigmentation around her eyes causes them to appear larger than they are. Head has a gentle curve with good depth of muzzle. Pronounced forechest and correct topline. Good angles front and rear with proper tailset. Lovely bitch!
2nd BARNESMORE ICE ANGEL GORBAIN (MISS & MR S E & R L THOMPSON & WOODWARD)
Another white bitch with black brindle ear markings. More upstanding that the first place bitch and of the same high quality. This was one of the more challenging decisions of the day. The decision came down to expression and this lovely lady just wasn’t using her ears on the day.

Upstanding and substantial all white bitch. Her head is long and strong with well placed, piercing dark eyes and small ears bang on top. All comes together in a super expression. Neck is long and muscular, straight front, good bone and round compact feet. Upper arm could use more length. Short, strong back with correctly angled rear quarters, Tail is short and set on low. Showed like a bomb and never took her eyes off her handler. BCC BOB

Straight front, short back and balanced front to rear. This high quality bitch was in very fit condition and determined it was her day to party. RBCC
