At Warmley I was judging WEBTC Open Show in the very same venue I had my very first judging appointment 33 years ago, so quite nostalgic. Nearly all exhibits were presented in good show condition. Not a huge entry at 38, but as usual at an Open Show virtually every type, and colour, in one show. Thank you for entering, and I am sure the main winners must have enjoyed the luxury rosettes and superb glassware etched and hand painted with the Club logo by clever Sarah Heard. My judge's gift extremely collectable.

1st LOUKA KOLOR KODED SCHM (MISS K MALDEN)
Black brindle with a very masculine head, and powerful make and shape. Good dark eye. He can use his ears, it was a little warm in the hall. Moved freely fore and aft, good bend of stifle.
2nd BLUEPOINT SUNFIRE (MR & MRS P & R DATE)
12 months old red and white who could not be more different from first, he is rather immature and needs time to fill out. Has enough head, with small dark eye, good reach of neck, and straight front, and short back. Good tail set. Beautifully presented in clean condition. Taking everything in and enjoying himself at his first show.

1st CRISALIA BIG POPPA (MR & MRS P & C BUSSON)
11 months and a very lovely white pup, shown in immaculate condition, well trained. A real picture standing as he had well filled head, with good under jaw, and super triangle shape to dark eye. Uses his very nice ears all the time. Could look a little long in back when standing at ease, but had good bone, straight front and has terrific bend of stifle already. Finished with well set correct length of tail. Went on to be BP
2nd RUBBISE DEVIL BOY (MRS SARAH BUNCE)
Just a real baby at 7 months, black brindle/ cobby, much lower to ground type. Good head with good under jaw. At the moment he tends to stand with his front feet turned out. He moves well when his handler can get him to concentrate. Just learning his trade at the moment.

Solid black with white bib, and tan markings. 16 months old, a most impressive chap, Good profile not exaggerated, superb eye, and erect neat ears. Enough neck, and really good make and shape with exactly the right amount of weight. Has good stifle enabling him to move with drive, excellent hind quarters. Went RBD

1st UKUSA VICTORIOUS AT MITCHSTOWE (MR & MRS S MITCHELL)
Red and white, Good filled head, and dark eye, can use his correctly placed ears when persuaded, would prefer more neck, but a very substantial dog without any flab, moved ok when he settled down. Has a perfect tail set, and correct length of tail.
2nd SHACADIA'S BLACK MAMBA AT LOUWAB (MR & MRS G J & S E HEARD)
Solid brindle rising 4 years, in gleaming condition. Head could have more muzzle power, but he had a very good expression, good eye, and ears. Perfect body condition for his size. Movement fore and aft ok. Have to say for a judge to get a chance to have an older, matured dog under their hands is a joy.

1st CHARMING KING (MISS J D MOORE)
By lucky chance, another solid, rising five, another gleaming coat, and perfect body condition. Shown to show off his virtues. Has a very good filled head without exaggerated profile, and good muzzle breath, and under jaw. Compact body shape, and good rear quarters, and moved well both ways.
2nd SPARTIATE KING LEONIDAS (MR & MRS D A & S M HACKETT)
3 year old white. A massive chap who looks as though he could be flabby, but not on feel. Has a good enough head but would prefer more muzzle power and width of under jaw. Keen eye and good ear set, enough neck for such a big chap. Good quarters and moves better in front than aft.

A white, really matured three year old. Presented in immaculate condition. Excellent head filled and correct length and breadth. Oh what an eye and expression and ear set this chap has, and he keeps his alertness. Good length of neck, straight front, good bone, short back, excellent spring of rib, and good quarters, and another well set tail to finish off the picture. BD & BOB
2nd POLANCA POWERSLAVE (MISS & MR L & T SHEPPARD & HOWES)
Rising 2, very large framed brindle and white. A very good head filled and with depth and width, good reach of neck, good bone and straight front. A lot of dog to go over and he is in good hard condition. Moved better fore than aft. He is a very happy dog that likes to comment and as a consequence his rather high set tail is in the air.

2½ year old white, pretty face, enough head, lovely eye and expression, rather overweight so lost her body shape. Moved freely.

(Another litter mate to 2nd in Puppy Dog) so another absolute baby at 7 months. Black brindle Good not overdone head, nicely made, short but compact. Rather excited but doing her best. Brief glimpse of good movement.

Red and white 18 months, smaller type, but so feminine and everything in proportion. Nice profile and good length and breadth of head, with lovely eye, and small erect ears. Super neck, straight front, and good feet. Excellent body shape, especially when shown looking up as she really then shows her lovely brisket. Short back, lovely bend of stifle and in perfect condition. Finished off with a correct tail set. BB
2nd UNIONBUL'S DIAMOND FLAME (MR S COVERDALE)
18 months old white. Bigger framed bitch with a very good head, slightly narrow underjaw. Very good eye and ear set. Enough neck, good bone for size. In softer condition than 1st, but presented in immaculate condition and beautifully in tune with her handler. A very nice bitch who moved freely.

2 year old beautifully marked brindle and white. A big frame, carrying too much weight which spoils her undercarriage. Good head with fill and eye and ear set correct. Good reach of neck, and good bone throughout. Moved well.
2nd CRISALIA BANG BANG BOOGIE (MR & MRS C & L J HICKS)
2½ white with good head with enough length and breadth, would prefer more width under jaw. Small eye and good ear use. A biggish bitch carrying correct amount of weight with good bone. Well bent stifle and correct tail length.

3 year old white. Substantial bitch with good head, and nice eye, her rather unusual ear set does give her a quizzical expression. Enough neck, into well proportioned body with good spring of rib. Right amount of condition, she is rather enthusiastic and movement hard to assess, but she settled into her walk eventually just moving a little close behind.
2nd BRIDENS SUMMER BREEZE (MR & MRS B & D SMALLEY)
3 year old, small white bitch. Good head without exaggeration, tiny eye, and neat ears. Would prefer more reach of neck. Good body shape and shown in immaculate condition with correct body score. Another movement hard to asses as it was rather hot in the hall.

5 year old. Walloping big dark brindle and white, with gleaming jacket. Just a little on the heavy side. Good strong head shape, and wicked eye, really uses her ears and pulls herself up on to her toes to show off her reach of neck, and straight front. Excellent bone throughout with good bend of stifle and really shifts when she moves. Just a little close behind. Perfect accord with her handler.
2nd UKUSA RHAPSODY FOR WAYBULLY SCHM (MR & MRS K & V WAYCOTT)
3½ Very feminine small white bitch. Decent head, good eye and ear set, nice reach of neck. Beautifully trained and presented in excellent condition from top to tip. Decent bend of stifle so moved well fore and aft.
