It was a privilege to be asked to judge for my local club, I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The show was excellently run and lunch was delicious, my compliments and appreciation to the hard working committee. Many thanks must also go to the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to go over their dogs. I was very pleased with both the quality and quantity. It was lovely to see some new faces in the ring showing for the first time, I hope they enjoyed their experience and carry on in future.

1st ALIBEAUSHA SIRIUS GUV'NOR (MR S & MRS A TEMPLE)
14 month white, cobby, square boy with a very short back. Pleasing head with enough profile, mouth just off and tight canines. Eye and ear give a good typical expression with enough power and fill viewed front on. I would like a little more reach of neck. Excellent forechest and shoulders. Well sprung in rib. Enough bone for size, leading down to good tight feet. Strong top line and a well angulated rear with correct tail set. Moved well from behind, handled well.

1st URBANBULLY LOCKDOWN (MISS M PAINTER)
9 month upstanding white boy with tri ear and eye markings. Good head with length, fill and finish, showing a classical profile without exaggeration and a good mouth. Typical expression from good eye and ear. Pleasing length of neck into a well developed forechest and well placed shoulder. Straight front with good bone and feet. Correct topline, moderate length of back and tail set on correctly. Rear will mature on and gain power with age. Moved well for a young pup, well handled and turned out. Very promising boy and one to watch. BP
2nd BILLIANBULLY BILL GOES ON (SPYROPOULOS)
6 month white with red ears, a very young pup at his first show, less mature than 1st. Pleasing head with length, good ear and eye. Would like a tad more fill but should come with maturity, good bite with one tight canine. Neck is of good length and leads into fair shoulders and chest for age. Straight front and tight feet , topline held well. Power in the rear will come in time. Correct tail set and well angled rear. Moved erratically but it was the handlers first show too, so a big opportunity for both to learn. All round honest pup that should come together in time.

13 months white with a black ear, a very mature, powerhouse of a dog. Strong, powerful, wide head, enough profile and fill, tiny eye gives a piercing expression. Would prefer ears set higher. Mouth has 2 front teeth just off, canines correct. Lovely depth of under jaw, and muzzle strong right to the end. Enough neck length, leads to huge gun barrel chest and good shoulder, masses of round thick bone, deepest of chests and lovely tight feet. Straight front, short back, fair topline. Tail set on well. Very powerful rear drives this dog down the mat – moved parallel and with purpose. Very well handled. Oozes bull type, a hugely useful dog, pleased to award him BD and RBIS

18 month white with tri ear and eye markings. Upstanding rangy dog. Good long head, though a little browy in profile. Small eye and good ear set gives typical expression. Mouth just off in front. Neck is of good length, front was a little wide and I would prefer more depth and forechest. Good amount of bone for size, stands on neat feet. Shoulder is fair, upper arm is a little steep, giving loose elbows on the move. Correct topline, short in back and correct tail set. Moves better from behind than in front. Well handled and presented.

1st DEANYS BAD BOY (MR & MRS G & L WARING)
Cobby, well marked red and white dog, in good condition. Big powerful wide head, enough fill, excellent ear and eye, one tooth missing, though still a scissor bite. Would prefer an inch on the neck. Excellent front and shoulder, big, deep chest and a lovely amount of bone. Stands on good feet. Short backed, fair topline, can over roach a little, good tail set. Moves with power from a well muscled rear. Well handled and presented as he is not the easiest dog to show.
2nd SHACADIA'S BLACK MAMBA AT LOUWAB (MRS S HEARD)
Solid brindle – rich deep beautifully coloured, terrier type dog. Pleasing head, of sufficient length. Good mouth, enough profile and fill. Excellent ear and eye gives a sharp expression. Good length of neck, a little shallow in chest, would prefer a little more bone. Has good, tight feet, short in back. Well angled rear. Forearm a little steep. Topline good and tail well set on. Moved well both ways. Well handled and presented.

4 year old fully mature upstanding white with brindle eye and ear markings. Consummate showman, shown beautifully and in great condition. Good length of head, with power, excellent eye and ear gives a typically wicked expression. Would prefer a tad more fill and profile. Good mouth. Correct length of neck leads to well developed chest and good shoulder with a straight front. Lovely bone and feet. Short in back, tail set correctly, this large dog drives himself along from a powerful rear, reaching out well in front. Best mover of the day. Very pleased to award him. RBD
2nd KEEP THE FAITH OF THE FOURHORSEMEN AT KARMARA (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
All white tall rangy 18 month old dog. Very different type to 1st. Beautiful shaped head with profile, though not over done. Would prefer a bit more power and fill front on. Good mouth – good depth of under jaw. Excellent eye gives a wicked glint. Ears a little soft and held wide. Good length of neck leads to good front assembly. Enough bone for type. Would prefer tidier feet. Back is not over long, rear is well angled. Moved close behind, tail held a little high. Just needs some time and maturity to see his best.

8 month tri bitch. Very pretty upstanding girl. Beautiful head of good length with profile. Excellent eye and ear lends typical expression. Enough fill and power for age. Good bite, one tight canine. Elegant neck leads to a well developed forechest. Shoulder is well laid. Straight front with enough bone and neat feet. Standing a little long at this time though should shorten with maturity. Very promising girl, at her first show. Movement difficult to assess, some more training will improve that area though her handler did very well for the first time. Shown in gleaming condition.

10 months red and white whirlwind of a girl. Powerful well filled head, though a little short, leading to an incorrect mouth. Excellent eye and ear gives typical expression. Elegant neck and fairly well made throughout with good bone and a short back. Excellent tight feet. Powerful rear, and correct tail set. Moved fair front and back. This girl makes her handler work hard! Hopefully with age and maturity she will show the best of herself. A good all round bitch.

Tail set on correctly. Top line rock solid standing and on the move. Moved out well both ways. Feminine from tip to toe without losing the power of a Bull Terrier. Excels in type, one to take home. Just my cup of tea. Delighted to award her BB BIS

13 months smart, well marked red and white typy bitch, elegant head of good length, excellent eye and well set ears. Bite good, canines slightly tight. Would prefer a little more muzzle strength. Elegant neck leads to well developed fore chest. Straight front with good bone and feet. Good depth of chest and shoulders are decently placed. Tends to hold herself a little wide and this shows in her front movement. Decent length of back, rear is well angled and powerful. Tail is set on correctly. Does lose her topline on the move.

Would prefer more muzzle strength. Beautiful neck leads to nicely developed chest and straight front. Enough bone for size and type. Good feet. Short enough in back for a bitch, well sprung in rib. Excellent tail set, well made rear. Moved out well both ways. Expertly handled and presented.

Extremely powerful mature white bull type bitch. Huge chest and front. Phenomenal power in head with fill and profile, though somewhat short hence an undershot mouth. Beautifully piercing expression, ears set on well. Enough length of neck, short in back and very well muscled rear. Good amount of bone, tidy round feet. Shoulder well placed, forearm a little short. Moved wide in front but fair behind. Handled well, but out of coat today.

Excelling in bone, lovely feet. Shapely body lines and short backed. Good tail set and top line. Moved well with power both ways. Shown in good condition and handled very well. Solid tri colour mature bitch, well made throughout. Powerful head with profile. Good eye though holds ears a little wide. Bite good but canines very tight. Good length of neck and mature straight front. Shoulder well laid. Would prefer a little more bone for size. Excellent feet. Moderate length of back. Tail set on correctly and rear decently angled. Moved very parallel and with drive.

Moved better behind than in front, tends to leave elbows out on the move.

16 month tri and white, very smart upstanding bitch. Shown in gleaming condition. Good length of head, with decent ear and eye. Lovely profile, without exaggeration, well finished, good mouth. Would prefer slightly more power. Good length of neck leads to well developed forechest, enough bone and good feet. A little down on pasterns today, which spoiled her front. Long cast in body but time to mature on. Moved a tad narrow behind.

16 month black brindle and white feminine bitch. Uber smart and showy girl with a sweeping profile. Head is powerful but a little short, under jaw is decently strong. Would like a touch more length and fill. Bite good with one canine in. Wickedest of eyes, ears bang on top. Classic body lines and well made all through. Sufficient bone for size and excellent feet. Elegant long neck, mature chest, short enough back, rear is well angulated and powerful. Moves very close behind, better in front. Stands beautifully and shown in a tight fitting gleaming coat. Very well handled.
2nd RAGNAROK FRICKA OVER BILBOEN (MR & MRS M & A TAYLOR)
8 years old well marked brindle and white typy bitch. In excellent condition for age. One of the most powerful heads in her time, still completely packed up and filled. Excels in eye and expression, ears well placed and used. Beautiful body lines, deep chest and straight front. Elegant neck, well placed shoulder, feet a little loose and untidy at this time of life. Moves a little close behind but still holds her top line. She was one to watch in her day and went on to prove herself in the whelping box. A truly lovely, golden oldie.
