It always gives me great pleasure to do my bit for the North East Bull Terrier Club, and I stepped in when the judge chosen had to decline. I’d like to thank everyone who made the effort to attend the show and moreover those who made an entry for the club! There’s a lot to think about after going over the dogs, as there were only three perfect mouths in the whole of the show, with faults ranging from the very minor to the more serious and again few specimens displayed the movement desired.
Minor Puppy Dog Entries 1 Absentees 0
1st CASTORBULL DARK BEFORE DAWN (MISS G NADOLSKI)
Red and white, a little immature. Head promising, just needs a little more fill in front of the eyes, mouth correct. Good expression. Gun barrel front, could have done with a better lay of shoulder. Adequate turn of stifle, moved fairly well in both directions considering his youth.

1st BULLYVIEW DRESS TO IMPRESS (MR ROB BAKEWELL)
2nd CASTORBULL DARK BEFORE DAWN (MISS G NADOLSKI)
White red ears, good head, mouth correct although canines were tight. His front was a little loose but he was nicely bodied up with sound hindquarters. Moved better behind than in front. A little more head than 2
Junior Dog Entries 3 Absentees 2
Unfortunately the dog was withdrawn due to lameness.
Novice Dog Entries 2 Absentees 1
1st SWARTWIT PETER (A REED)
Black brindle, substantial dog with a strong head, just lacking a little downface and finish. Mouth correct but again canines were tight. Good front, decent shoulders, well sprung ribs with good depth of brisket. Well developed hindquarters, moved well in both directions when settled. Handler needs to work a little more with his dog, perhaps take him to handling classes (just a little advice).
Post Graduate Dog Entries 7 Absentees 1
1st CLANSMANN CENTURIAN PLAYER (MR & MISS K & A JOWERS)
White. Perfectly balanced dog with a good head that has width, depth and enough fill and finish to suit. Mouth correct. Good alert expression. Good front and feet. Good shoulders, plenty of reach, good depth of and well sprung ribs. Good topline, well developed sound hindquarters, tail set marginally high. Moved well with drive. Should do well in the future for his owner, good luck. He was awarded RBD on his better mouth and superior movement RBD
2nd TULSADOOM KABUKIMONO (MR & MRS D & T WESTWOOD)
Brindle and white. Cobby dog with an abundance of bone and substance. Powerful head, well turned and filled with depth and finish, yet expression marred in my opinion by too much width between the ears. Minor mouth fault. Straight front, feet could be tighter. Shoulders could have done with a little more lay back. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib. Just enough turn of stifle. Moved better behind than in front as he tended to toe in to excess at the faster paces.
3rd ALIZARIN CARAMEL CRISP AT CHARISHALEE (MESSRS & MRS & MRS WANNOP & WILSON )
Res SERENBULL BUFFALO SOLDIER (MRS & MISS & MISS S & K & L NISBET & KELLY & KELLY)
VHC PRECIOUS HERO AT PITTAMINA (MR & MRS S & C HEWITT)

1st EMRED DOUBLE DEALER (MR & MRS D & J LISTER)
White black ear, balanced white dog. Good head turned and filled, yet eyes are a little bold which marred his expression. Mouth fault. Gun barrel front. A little more lay of shoulder would have been preferred, yet still held topline on the move. Strong well developed hindquarters, moved well above average in both directions. Considered him hard for RBD.

1st RABRAM ROCK STAR (MR R LEGGATT)
White black eye patch, top quality white dog. Very good head with downface, finish and fill, ears right on top. Mouth fault. Straight front. To be picky, shoulders could have been a little better. Nicely flowing bodylines and strong hindquarters. Looked a picture standing, yet let himself down a little on the move as at the wrong pace he tends to roll and go a little close. However, his virtues largely outweigh his faults. Easy winner. BD BIS
2nd BROKEN ARROW'S PEAKY BLINDER AT TULSADOOM (MR & MRS D & T WESTWOOD)
Brindle and white, heavyweight dog with many positive virtues, just not the head of 1. While his movement was better behind, he was only on par in front. He’s a brindle and white I have always admired.
Veteran Dog or Bitch Entries 3 Absentees 2
1st AMSTIRELLA URBAN LEGEND (MR & MRS FRANCIS)
Brindle and white, 9 year old youngster! Or he thought he was. Enjoyed his day very much and never stopped showing. Strong head, lacking a little downface, mouth correct one of the few in the show and at 9 years old surely alarm bells should be ringing. Good front, shapely bodylines and sound hindquarters. Movement was on par with a high percentage of winners.

1st UNFAILLING LOST IN PARADISE FOR SERENBULL (MRS & MISS & MISS S & K & L NISBET & KELLY & KELLY)
White, head markings, nicely balanced white. Good head with fill and finish and a perfect mouth. Good front and tight feet. Decent shoulders and level topline. Good depth of brisket and well bodied up for a youngster. Nicely placed tail although carried a little gaily. Good hindquarters and well let down hocks. Moved fairly well both ways. Co-operated very well with her handler, a real showgirl. RBB BP

1st INDIGO INCA AT PITTAMINA (MR & MRS S & C HEWITT)
Brindle and white. Good head with turn, fill and finish. Decent expression, mouth tight but still correct. Front under her but she tends to turn out at the pasterns. Could do with a better lay of shoulder. She has depth of brisket and spring of rib. Nicely set on tail and adequately turned hindquarters. Moved fairly well both ways. Co-operated well with her handler.
Limit Bitch Entries 2 Absentees 0
1st RABRAM ROLLING DEEP (MR R LEGGATT)
White brindle ears. Nicely bodied up bitch with a very good head, slight mouth fault. Good front and decent shoulders, but would have liked a little more layback. Firm topline, good depth of brisket and spring of rib. Not too bad a tail set and well developed hindquarters. Above average mover in both directions. Her qualities far outweigh her faults and I wish her a bright future; BB
2nd JAVARKE PERSEPHONE (MRS JOANNE GODDARD)
Nicely balanced white bitch. Head has turn and finish, could do with a little more fill under the eyes. Varminty expression and correct mouth. Gun barrel front, short back, level topline and well developed hindquarters which she could have used to great advantage if settled on the move. Could have a bright future.
Open Bitch Entries 4 Absentees 2
1st NEAPOLITAN BULL BLAZE OF GLORY FOR BLAZINBULLYS (IMP ITA) (MR & MRS R & S MATHISON)
White, ear markings, tall elegant white. Very good head, eyes and ears well placed. Unfortunately, she has a serious mouth fault which denied her top honours, still won this class with ease due to obvious virtues. She has a good front and flowing bodylines and sound well angulated hindquarters. Above average mover in both directions when settled for her handler.
2nd DIKRAM BLACK MAGIC AT RABRAM (MR R LEGGATT)
Black brindle and white, cobby bitch with a powerful head rather than classically turned. Her shoulders are a little loaded and a better lay would have improved her topline, but she did have plenty of bone and substance right through. Sound hindquarters, moved better behind than in front. Looked like she’d recently had puppies, good luck.
