I was happy to be asked to Judge at Nott’s and Derby, a huge thanks to the Committee for their vote of confidence in me, Have to admit to a bit of nerves on the day, Nott’s and Derby Bull Terrier Club have a great tradition and a long history, so I was truly honoured, I was made feel very welcome, thanks to my stewards Ian and Dinu also Sharon for a lovely lunch. Biggest thanks to the Exhibitors on the day for taking the time and effort, thank you very much.

1st BROOKBULLY BLACKHEART (MR J EMETT)
All white dog 15 months old, straight front and tidy feet, small eye and ears well set, keen expression, movement was good in front, close behind, level top line but did seem to lack drive on the move.

1st EMRED DOUBLE DEALER (MR & MRS D & J LISTER)
White dog 18 months old, very well balanced, plenty of bone and substance for size, lovely front, strong head with width and depth, good bite, canines appeared a little tight, nice short back, good tight feet, moved with purpose and drive but would benefit from some ring craft classes, needs to settle, but on the day did enough to win the class. BD
2nd BROOKBULLY AVENGER (MR J EMETT)
Well known young white dog of very good balance also, strong head with small eye and good ear setting, when he used them, making for nice expression, slight mouth fault. He does have strong quarters and a good front but did seem to lack drive on the move, hard decision between 1 and 2.

A well marked red and white with a short back, masculine, good bone and substance for size, strong quarters and moved well in front, a bit close behind, good head of length, width and depth. Level bite, high tail set.RBD
2nd BRADAK'S RUTHLESS REMEDY (MR D PARKINGTON)
Another red and white well marked 2 year old, good substance, would like a bit more bone, decent head, he has good ear carriage and used them well, a little kind in eye, lacked bit of fill, moved well, tidy feet. Well handled.

Celebrating his 11th birthday the following week, this boy is in great condition, strong head, good make and shape, moves well, a true credit to his owners.

Very pretty white girl with eye patch 2 years old, terrier type, short back, good shoulder, a lovely head, well filled and smooth, correct bite, really liked her, carrying a bit of weight but she moved well both ways, her top line dipped a little on the move.

Well marked red and white, pretty girl, fairly well balanced in lovely condition,
Straight front, tidy feet, she’s got a good head with perfect scissor bite, proper ear setting, enough fill, moves well in front, a bit close behind, held a firm top line, well handled.

All white girl 15 months old, dramatic turn in head, sweeping unbroken profile, perfect scissor bite, well set ears, feet untidy, and tended to loose her topline on the move.

Terrier type girl, well marked brindle and white, almost 4 and a half years old, super condition, lovely head, has nice length, perfect scissor bite, ear setting proper, small and thin, lovely ears, moved well tip toe expection, enough bone and substance for type, good bend of stifle, good upper arm, shapely body, good proportions, she does have a high tail set, she showed and was handled very well.
