I would like to thank the committee of the East Anglian Bull Terrier Club for asking me to judge their November show. I had a very enjoyable day at this lovely new venue, which was large and bright and had a big area outside for the dogs to be exercised in. A big thank you to all the exhibitors that entered under me, I was really pleased with the quality and had a lot of hard decision to make in quite a few of the classes.

Two super veterans, both looking good, sadly I had to choose between them, they both deserved to have first.
1st MARSHELSEA TROUBLE COMING AT ROMAGNA (MRS & MRS M & Y MORGANS)
8 year old white male with black ears, enjoying his day out. Powerful masculine head with good turn and fill. Ears on top, strong underjaw, teeth just tipping off but still in good condition. Strong long neck and good body lines, lovely tight feet. Moved a little close behind. Never stopped showing.
2nd STOCKLEYVIEW SOLITAIRE (MS E BRAILSFORD)
7 year old cobby brindle and white female, who also never stopped showing. Feminine head with lovely turn, ear bang on top, correct bit and super clean, a credit to her owner. Good front, still held her top line on the move, correct tail set. She was also enjoying her day out.

1st BILBOEN FINAL CONFLICT (MISS & MR S & M FOSTER & BICKER)
Upstanding quality brindle and white. Strong, turned powerful head, with strong muzzle and pack right up. Correct bit, small dark eye, ears on top, giving a good expression when used. Long strong neck going into good lay of shoulders, gun barrel chest, slightly week in the pastern, still needs to mature up though, enough bone, good hind quarters, tight feet. Gave his handler a hard time on the move but the few times he settled for a bit, he moved parallel and with drive. One to watch RBD
2nd PAINTED WARRIOR VON DER ALTEN VESTE ATCAT01210DEU (MRS CLAUDIA GASE)
Well made, terrier type black brindle and white in super condition, Long head, with classical turn and fill, would of like more power to the muzzle. Small eye, good ear placement, correct mouth, long neck, good shoulders, straight front, lovely body shape, level top line, with powerful hind quarters and good rear angulation. Moved and handled well.

1st BEEBEEMI GRANDMASTER FLASH (MISS DONNA MITCHELL)
Red and white bull type, who screams male, this is why I rewarded him RBIS over the bitch. Very masculine powerful wide head, fill right up, lacks a little between the eyes, strong underjaw, small piecing eye with small correctly placed ears, sadly a mouth fault but for me his virtues outweighed this. Strong powerful neck, gun barrel chest, short cobby body, plenty of round bone, powerful hind quarters with enough bend of stifle and second thigh, tight feet for such a heavy weight dog. He powered up the mat, in 4 wheel drive BD
2nd UKUSA ANARCHIST (MRS & MR A & J GIBBS)
Red and white smut. Long head, gentle turn, with finish, lacks a little fill, held ears erect, deep eye, slight mouth fault. Straight front, a little long in back, correct tail set, enough bend of stifle, tight feet. Moved well

Smart quality red and white, Strong good turned head with plenty of fill and good underjaw. Mouth fault, small dark eye, would off liked better ear placement, powerful neck, slightly upright in shoulder, straight front, short back, good tail set and tight feet. Held top line on the move.
2nd ABBIES LUCKY LAD SHCM (Messrs F & J KENNEDY)
White with eye patch. Long head that lacks a little between the eyes, correct mouth, ears held erect. Good lay of shoulder, straight front, slightly long in back, moved close behind, was one with his handler.

Red and white terrier type male. Strong long classical turned head with enough fill. Dark eye, good ear placement and strong underjaw, mouth ok. Powerful long neck, rounded chest, straight front, a tad upright in the shoulder, short back, powerful quarters with good angulation, has a tendency to over stretch when standing, feet a little untidy. Handle well.

1st BILBOEN GERSEMI AT RAGNAROK (MR & MRS M & A TAYLOR)
6 month old white with red ears. Well balanced quality bitch. Lovely feminine filled head, with sweeping profile, would off liked a tad more strength to muzzle, scissor bit, good underjaw, small deep eye, ears a little big but on top. Long elegant neck going into correct lay of shoulder, straight front, deep fore chest, lovely body lines, good rear angulation, moved well for one so young. An up and coming star.
2nd MIINROC LOVE BUG (MISS F MILLS)
10 month old pretty brindle and white, not the profile of 1st, long head with plenty of fill, ears bang on top, eyes a little round, correct bit, nice body lines, straight front, tight feet, good rear angulation. Held her top line on the move.

Quality brindle and white terrier type bitch. Long strong feminine head, with plenty of fill and good turn, scissor bit, small eye, correct ear placement. Long swan like neck going into correct lay of shoulder, good spring of rib, level top line, powerful hind quarters, with good bend of stifle, tight feet. Moved well. RBB

Brindle and white bitch. Exaggerated turned head that’s fill to the brim, deep small eyes, mouth fault. Long neck, upright in the shoulder, short coupled cobby body, powerful hind quarters, good bend of stifle and second thigh. Movement was hard to assess as she was giving her handler a hard time.

Tall, well made brindle and white bitch. Gentle turn with enough fill but a little short in the muzzle, nice deep eye, good ear placement, mouth fault, elegant neck, correct lay of shoulder, deep chest, level top line, good tail set. Strong hind quarters and tight feet. Moved and handled well.

9 month old brindle and white feminine bitch, I could not take my eyes of her. Egg shaped head, filled right up with good finish. Small triangular shape eyes, ears bang on top making for a good expression, perfect bit, with enough underjaw. Elegant neck, deep chest, plenty of bone, lovely body lines, held top line on the move. Strong hind quarters and second thigh. Feet could be tighter. Still a little loose on the move but should tighten with maturity BP BB BIS
