My thanks to the committee for this invitation. Thank you to the exhibitors who travelled on a Bank Holiday weekend, and to those who had already said they were not able to attend. I still have a letter from Phyl McCombie several decades ago telling me my entry for this show was 117! This year the entry was 26, with 10 minis, but whatever the entry a judge hopes that the winners will be good specimens of the breed and that was indeed what I found. My thanks for Senior Steward Annabelle Twyman, and Trainee Sharon Lilleyman. Thanks also to Jason Gibbs who was roped in to take pics for the EABTC Website for BT's, he had to leave so Annabelle took the mini pics.
My very lovely plant travelled home well, as did the home made dog biscuits (Sharon Lilleyman), and the home made pie provided by Kathy Mills.

1st RAGNAROK BALDER AT POLANCA (MISS & MR L & T SHEPPARD & HOWES)
8 year old red and white in superb maturity. So many virtues from his excellent head, glinty eye, and well set ears, to good bone, deep brisket, good bend of stifle, and correct length and shape of tail. A masculine chap who moves well fore and aft RBD
2nd BAVAZUELA INGEMAR JOH (MR A HAASE)
A joyous 12 years old white who still cannot wait to get in the show ring. He is a big dog who is now slowing down, but I was rather touched to have him take his retirement bow under me. He is in very good. condition for his age.

1st OLIVER TWIST'S PRINCE (KRZYSZTOF RYDZYNSKI)
Big brindle and white unruly chap with gleaming jacket. Good head with slight lack of muzzle power, at 15 months is he is a powerful dog with good chest and bend of stifle. Movement a bit erratic.
2nd UKUSA ANARCHIST (MRS & MR A & J GIBBS)
15 months Red, mask and white totally different type with enough head although wide set ears. He still needs to mature but in good clean condition and was nicely in accord with handler and moved well.

1st CRISALIA BIG POPPA (MR & MRS P & C BUSSON)
22 months white in immaculate condition. Masculine without coarseness. Well filled head without exaggeration, with length and width of under jaw. What an eye, excellent ear set, good neck and well sprung ribs, good bone, and great bend of stifle. He is a real picture standing and moves well, and finished with correct set and length of tail. 2nd LARONBELLE'S MAGIC VISIONS (MISS & MR A & A GARDNER & TWYMAN)
6 year old white with eye patch. He is another big framed dog who I felt could carry a little more weight. Lots to like with enough of everything. Has a good eye and straight front and in accord with his handler. Moved fine.

6 year dark brindle in perfect condition. She is a big bitch who was absolutely up on her toes proudly enjoying herself. Great eye and well set ears, super bone and really powerful quarters which she really uses to shift down the ring.

Half sister to winning dog. 9mths old striking black brindle and white who is teeming with type and has so many virtues from her lovely head fill, super eye (which she never takes off her handler) lovely reach of neck, good bone, she is very mature, yet feminine, with good make and shape throughout and moves well with a correct tail set. 2nd HEAVEN WHITE LIGHT-FLYWEIGHT AT DITON (IMP FRA) (MR & MRS A J & D B MCCANN)
9 months pretty white girl. Very nice head without exaggeration, and lovely eye and ear set, she has enough of everything and in perfect condition. Good tail set. Paced at front when she first set off but slowed down to show good movement.

White in immaculate coat, very elegant long head, with nice eye and long neck. I prefer more bone but is in proportion for her age. Has well bent stifle and moved with drive.
2nd UKUSA AUSPICIOUS (MR & MRS R RACKSTRAW)
(Litter sister to junior dog) Very similar to brother red smut with enough head, nice eye and good neck. In correct condition for size and with straight front, good tight feet and decent movement

2½ red and white very well made throughout and just lacking in the head profile and strength of muzzle. Has a good eye and well trained if a rather serious girl. Moved well. Correct tail set.
2nd ABENAKI SNEAKY PEEKER (MRS H BLOOM)
13 months nicely marked brindle and white with long lean head with more to come. Good neck, tall bitch and still rather lean. Good tail set. Movement a bit erratic.
