Thank you to the committee of The Colored Bull Terrier Club for inviting me to judge their show. It was a great honor to be asked, and a pleasure to judge. The venue was excellent, and the day was a beautiful sunny one. Most importantly, a huge thank you to the exhibitors for entering and presenting their dogs in such spectacular condition. I also would like to thank my ring stewards, Chris Wright and Jo Moore. Since the procedure is a bit different back home in the USA, I would have been a bit lost without them.

1st UKUSA XERXES (MR & MRS G & A NEWBERRY)
Lovely rich red and white, 9 month old puppy dog, huge round bone all the way down to his feet, which were also nice and tight. Gorgeous turned and packed up head piece. Ears were well placed when he used them. His mouth was very slightly under but with correct canines. Although his movement is still quite loose, it was clean both ways and he had good drive when viewed from the side. Where this puppy is good, he is very good. Overall, loads of virtue. (best puppy dog) BP
2nd COOLBULS KINGSTON TOWN AT KRAWEN (MR & MRS S J & K J BROWN)
9 month old black brindle puppy dog, sweeping clean lines, nice long neck with excellent lay of shoulder leading to a straight front. Adequate bone for size and tight cat shaped feet.
The head is nicely turned and filled and the teeth are correct. He is well let down in the rear with correct angulation and his construction led to nice movement coming and going and good drive when viewed from the side. Overall, a promising youngster.

Red and white male, mature dog. Head is long and well turned with adequate fill. Ears are well placed. Front is straight and well muscled. Rear is also well muscled and let down. Good tail set with tail held straight out when alert. Moved well coming, and slightly close going. Good drive when viewed from the side. He has adequate bone for size. This dog was one that I had in consideration for my dog winner.
2nd UKUSA ZAIKAI (MR MARK RUDDOCK)
Another mature red and white dog. Nice headpiece with good fill and adequately turned. He is nice and straight in front. Very heavy boned, and nicely angled in the rear. He moved fairly well both coming and going, but with slightly less drive today than the winner.

1st MIINROC ONLY THE BRAVE (MISS F MILLS)
This is a rich red and white colored dog that I noticed the second he walked into the ring. He is fully mature, with heavy round bone that extended right down to his beautiful cat shaped and tightly put together feet. When viewed from the front, he is ramrod straight, and once again the beautiful tight cat feet complete the picture. Fronton, his head has a nice egg shape. His head is nicely turned in profile, with a strong lower jaw. He has very good fill. From the side he is fairly short backed, and he moved out and back with drive. To complete the picture, he held his topline on the move; a not so commonly seen trait lately. Although he has a minor mouth fault, this was easily outweighed by his obvious virtues. For me he was a very deserving winner. BD BOB BIS
2nd VETSBULLIES JESUS OF BRIDEN (MR & MRS B & D SMALLEY)
A very well made Black brindle and White dog, just over a year of age. He has a beautifully turned and filled head with very good expression due to his small and well placed eyes. He is straight in front and well angled in the rear. He moved quite well both coming and going when he chose to cooperate. His tail set is quite good also, and he would have been in serious contention today had he been carrying a bit more weight. On the day, he just appeared a little immature compared to the winner. RBD

1st RAGNAROK DARALIS WITH POLANCA (MISS & MR L & T SHEPPARD & HOWES)
Well known brindle and white at 7 years of age. Although now flecked with a little gray, she has a magnificent head, well turned and fully packed. She was presented in excellent condition. Her front is nice and straight and her feet are still tight and cat like. Her ears are bang up on top of her head. It was a pleasure to see her, and I thank her owner for bringing her out.
2nd RUBBISE CAUSING CHAOS AT LOUKA (MISS K MALDEN)
Well made brindle and white at four years old. She has a nicely turned head, but not quite the fill of the winner of this class. She has a slight mouth fault. She is well let down in her rear and moved quite well both coming and going. Thank you to her owner for bringing her out today.

7 month old red and white puppy bitch. She has a beautifully turned head, but also has excellent fill. Her ears are right up on top of her head, which aids in giving her very good expression. She is nice and straight in front with more than adequate bone for size. She is also quite mature in appearance for such a young bitch. All the little details are there. A very promising youngster. (Best puppy bitch)
2nd BOWMOUNTBULL DARK NIGHT (MR & MISS R & L BOWYER & MOUNTFORD)
10½ month old brindle and white puppy bitch. She was also well put together. With a straight front and well angled rear end. She has a very well turned head with just slightly less fill than the winner. She has tiny little eyes which give her that varmint look that we all strive for. Overall this class caused me one of my toughest decisions of the day.

A rich red and white bitch. Gorgeous head piece with ample turn and fill. She is wonderfully straight when viewed from the front and nicely angled in the rear. She also has those tightly put together feet which are the icing on the cake. A high quality bitch.
2nd NOTORIOUS SHOCKADELICA (IMP USA) (MR & MR & MRS P & P & H JASPER & GOODING)
A solid tricolored bitch with another gorgeous head. Turned and fairly well packed as well. When viewed head on it produces that typical egg shape that we look for. Although she was not quite as interested as I would have liked today, she did move fairly well, especially so when viewed coming.

A richly colored brindle and white bitch. She has a head, that while not quite as packed or as dramatically turned as some others, was nevertheless more than adequate in both. She is also quite well made, with correct shoulder placement. Her excellent construction led to solid movement when viewed on the up and back and from the side. Another very high quality bitch. RBB

1st KOMERITO JLO (IMP GRC) (MRS T FLETCHER)
Another rich red and white bitch. She has a terrific head; turned and filled. Her ears are right up on top of her head when she used them, and this aided in giving her very nice expression. She is ramrod straight in front and quite well angled in the rear. She also has very tightly put together feet which just adds to the pretty picture. BB

1st BULLY TRIP HELL'S ANGEL BY UKUSA (IMP POL) (MR & MRS G & A NEWBERRY)
A 4½ year old black brindle bitch. The breed certainly does not lack for heads, as this is another bitch with turn and fill. Although she tends to carry her tail a bit high, she is fairly short backed. Quite a show girl, she was right up on her toes and ready to go the whole time she was in the ring. True Bull Terrier temperament!
