I was very honoured with the number of 56 entries, I found the quality of exhibits very pleasing. On the whole I feel that size was good, presentation and showmanship to a high standard, very few had any canine problems, though shoulders and rear movement on some could be better.

Typy white, good head and mouth. Stuffy in neck and a little loaded through the shoulder, could use more angulation in rear. Good bone and substance, showed well.

Brindle. Well balanced, great head, keen eye and ear giving typical expression, correct mouth. Lovely long neck into good shoulders, straight front, would like tighter feet. Moderate length in back, well angulated rear quarters which he used to move with drive and purpose. Good size, great little showman, full of style, charisma and panache, pleased to award him CC and B.O.B. He looked great in the group. DCC & BOB

My thanks to my exhibitors for their entries many I know had travel great distances today. Exhibits had Good Health and Temperaments but we are still getting the usual ongoing assortment of sizes trying to find its right level that will be ongoing for some time to come. I observed 1 Canine Tooth fault 2 was getting tight and may cause problems later on. The faults that needs to be addressed are poor fronts, toeing and close hind movements. Heads are still lacking underjaw and please please if you can’t attend ring training, practice with your dog/bitches at home to get them ‘settled’ in the ring. Most of all don’t feed food to them when the Judge is trying to examine their mouths.

Loved the size and style to this handsome mature 8 month red and white, good head well filled with gentle curve, keen eye with correct bite to finish the picture, nice length to neck and liked his shoulder placement, good overall body shape with substance to match, full of himself this youngster moving confidently both fore and aft never stopped showing which gave him the overall edge in the puppy challenge to take BP.

Lovely body shape and size on this 7 month youngster, solid front with good bone in keeping with stage of maturity, nice neckline with head developing profile, used her eyes and ears well, just not the maturity in head yet, but time on her side, has the substance with well sprung ribs, rear quarters developing well as shown when she moved.
