I would like to thank the committee of Leeds Championship Dog Show for inviting me to judge Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers. It is a lovely show ground and the small committee worked very hard to make the show a success. I would like to thank all the exhibitors who entered under me. There was a lot of quality tn both Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers, which made for a lot hard decisions. It was an extremely hot day and I have to say the exhibits and the exhibitors still showed wonderfully. A thank you also to my two stewards, whom keep the ring running efficiently.
There was a lot of quality which made for some very hard decision in some class and special the line up.

1st BADLESMERE BAPTISM OF FIRE (MISS C CAMPBELL)
12 months Cobby red and white dog. Long head with gentle profile, small eye, good ear placement, perfect mouth, good spring of rib, slightly long in back, strong hindquarters. Moved well.
2nd ROUGEBULL GAME CHANGER (MISS TRACEY ROWELL)
7 months Well marked bindle and white dog. Still very much a baby. Well filled long head with turn. Small eye, correct mouth, enough bone for size. Moved a little close behind

1st CH RAGNAROK HALFDAN THE BLACK (MR & MRS M & A TAYLOR)
Quality black brindle dog, Strong, masculine egg shaped head, filled to the brim with super turn and finish, powerful underjaw, correct mouth, small eye and ears on top. Strong neck going into good lay of shoulder, gun barrel chest, short back, powerful hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Needed to get into his stride, moved ok once he did. A lot to like about this boy, he pushed very hard for top honours.

Another quality dark brindle and white dog. Not quite the power of the Junior dog. Masculine head which is well filled and turned, correct mouth, deep chest, straight front, short back with good bend of stifle. Moved a little close behind.
2nd KENZDUO BLACK BEAN AT DUKERLINE (MISS J THOMAS)
Black brindle and white dog. Strong wide head not the profile of 1. Small eye and ears, slight mouth fault, carrying a little too much weight which made him look short in the leg. Good round bone, level topline. Needed to settle on the move.
3rd STARCINCO A MILLION DREAMS AT BOWNESBULLS (MR & MRS D & J BOWNES)

1st KENXTWEN LET'S GO (MISS & MR A & A TOWNEND & BALL)
Caught my eye as he walked into the ring. Cobby red and white dog. Who is well balanced. Strong masculine head with plenty of fill turn. Strong underjaw. Eye a little kind, mouth fault but for me his virtues out weighted this. Strong neck, good shoulder placement, gun barrel chest, short back, good tail set, powerful hindquarters and tight feet. Moved well and held topline once he had got into his stride. RDCC
2nd KARMARA'S DOUBLE JEOPARDY (MRS & MR R & T KARTA-WILLIAMS & WILLIAMS)
Large powerful upstanding white dog with eye patch. Well filled broad head with depth, small eye, good ear placement, mouth fault, strong neck going into good lay of shoulders, powerful fore chest. Strong hindquarter. Moved a little close behind.

Quality upstanding red and white dog. Very strong and powerful head which has depth and width, well turned profile with plenty of fill and good finish. Strong underjaw, very slight mouth fault, but he can easily carry this. Small vermin eye, ears bang on top making for a wicked expression. Masculine neck going into good lay of shoulder, gun barrel chest and deep brisket, straight front, short back, powerful hindquarters, with good angulation. Excellent tight feet. Moved with drive. Powerful bull type white dog. Masculine filled head with width and depth, very small vermin eye making for an excellent expression. Perfect mouth, super ear placement, strong powerful neck going into good lay of shoulders. Short back and good spring of ribs. Very powerful hind quarters with good angulation. He paddles in the front on the move. Pushed hard for higher placement.

Feminine white quality bitch, well filled head with lovely turn to profile, ears erect and on top, correct mouth, long elegant neck, straight front, strong hindquarters with lovely bend to stifle. Correct tail set and enough bone for size.
2nd VENUS BACK FLASH AT BULLWIZZ (MR A LEIGH)
Nicely marked brindle and white feminine bitch. Lovely turn to profile with good finish, ears could be placed a little better. Good lay of shoulder, a tad short in leg which made her back like long, good rear angulation with plenty of bone. Move a little close behind

Moved with drive. She has lovely body lines and I was very pleased that I gave her, her 3rd CC making her up to Champion BCC

She has a feminine well filled head with lovely turn, small dark eye and ears bang on top, slight mouth fault, slender neck going into good lay of shoulders, straight front, short back, with good spring of ribs, muscular hindquarters with good bend of stifle, Held top line on the move RBCC

Small eye and correct mouth, good spring of rib, level top line with strong hindquarter and good bend of stifle. Moved well. I felt she was carrying a little too much weight today, which made her look slightly unbalanced.

Another quality white feminine bitch with black ears. Long head with fill and a gentle turn, correct mouth, small ears, lovely body lines, straight front, good bend of stifle. Moved well, covered the ground.
